🔥 “I wanted to play just for 20 minutes, and now it's time to go to my actual job” — the cyberpunk shop simulator Probably Stolen is blowing up on Steam
The game is somewhat reminiscent of Papers, Please, but with a ton of extra mechanics and a stronger focus on management. You'll become a black-market dealer in a dystopian city, fighting to maintain your livelihood and keep your “reputation” score up.
In Probably Stolen, you can:
— Replace labels on counterfeit products and pass them off as genuine;
— Choose your own playstyle and run all kinds of businesses: breed fish, scavenge junk from the dump, purify water, assemble guns, get involved in shady schemes, and much more;
— Hide contraband and then forget where you stashed it;
— Convince a guy that a laxative is somehow the answer to his bleeding;
— Keep a close eye on customers, build or ruin relationships with them, and see where your choices lead;
— Play inventory Tetris, trying to fit all your items into the available slots.
The game is receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam.
❌ BioWare was shut down because of Star Wars, according to Jason Schreier
At one point, EA had to choose between a new Mass Effect and Star Wars Battlefront 3. Both were sci-fi projects with budgets running into hundreds of millions of dollars.
In the end, EA chose the Battlefront 3 for several reasons:
— It was considered the safer option in terms of profitability;
— The previous two Battlefront games performed well, while BioWare's recent releases (Mass Effect: Andromeda, Anthem, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard) failed to meet expectations;
— EA's current leadership prefers shooters over RPGs.
As a result, BioWare was set to be shut down, the Mass Effect Universe project cancelled, and all the funding redirected to Battlefront 3.

❗️ Binance may have been hacked by North Korean hackers, experts believe
More specifically, the suspected attackers are TradeTraitor, a unit of the Lazarus Group — the same group that hacked Bybit last year.
Here's what we know:
— This is reportedly the biggest heist in crypto history, with losses reaching $6.4 billion. The exchange managed to freeze around $3 billion, while hackers have ALREADY MOVED approximately $2.4 billion;
— For comparison, North Korean hackers stole $2.7 billion worth of crypto throughout 2024 and 2025. This time, the entire operation reportedly took just 20 minutes;
— The weak point may have been a DevOps employee's laptop. At least, that's the theory Binance itself is investigating;
— Deposits are working as usual, but withdrawals remain restricted. Binance expects to restore full service within 48 hours.
The investigation is ongoing.
❗️ Binance has been hacked — more than $5.6 BILLION has been drained from the exchange's hot wallets
The breach was confirmed by platform founder Changpeng Zhao. Tether and Circle have reportedly halted transactions in response, while claims suggest that user funds remain unaffected.

⚡️ New GTA 6 Screenshots and Details from EDGE Magazine’s Exclusive Coverage
Map and World:
— The map is almost as big as GTA 4, GTA 5, and RDR 2 combined. Journalists say it’s not just the size but the density that stands out. There are more interiors than ever before and every one is handcrafted
— The day and night cycle is longer than in any previous GTA
— Dynamic weather directly affects boats, planes and NPCs. Full-on storms can form and move across the map like real ones. One part of the state might have a hurricane while another is totally calm
— Realistic train and bus systems run throughout the world
— Streets are narrower than in previous games for added realism
— A whole separate team worked on brands, ads, TV shows, political campaigns and other world details
NPCs:
— Over 600,000 NPC animations are tied to character personalities. Even the district you’re in changes how NPCs behave. A separate studio handles just the NPCs
— NPCs react to weapons: they’re calmer if, say, a shotgun is slung over your shoulder but get nervous if you’re holding it
Main Characters:
— Characters react to bad smells around them. There are different levels of “disgust”
— Even coffee and protein shakes affect your character differently. One boosts stamina, the other health
— Jason and Lucia’s relationship has a four-level intimacy scale that impacts the story. You fill it up by going on dates
— Their story is more personal and emotional than past “opportunist” protagonists. The game asks if their life of crime is really worth it
Car Theft and Police:
— Police have K9 units with dogs
— There’s a detection system using thermal imaging
— You have to refuel cars and keep the engine in good shape
— You can steal cars to resell to fences. There’s an app to track which cars they want. Expensive cars have trackers so stealing them is tougher
— Your criminal profile tracks every crime you commit and shapes the story
Game director Aaron Garbut says the world is so massive even he hasn’t seen everything the team has built.
Play it starting November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
