🚨💔🐾 TODAY, WE CAN'T EVEN AFFORD ONE MEAL FOR OUR CHILDREN AND RESCUED CATS. 🆘 Imagine standing in front of dozens of hungry little faces, knowing they are waiting for food, while you have almost nothing left to offer them. 💔🐱 This is our reality today. Contributions have nearly stopped, and we have received only a very small amount of support, nowhere near enough to provide even one meal for our children and rescued cats today. Our funds are exhausted, our shelves are almost empty, and we have no resources left to purchase more food. Things are becoming increasingly difficult. 🐾💔 EVERY MORNING, THEY STILL COME RUNNING TO US… AS IF THEY BELIEVE WE CAN MAKE EVERYTHING ALRIGHT. Sometimes, all it takes is one little cat looking up at us with innocent eyes to remind us why we cannot give up. Her silent question seems to be: “Will there be something to eat today? Will we be okay?” We smile and gently reach out to her, hiding the worries we carry. Our supplies are limited, our days are difficult, and every meal requires sacrifice. Yet these little souls still greet us with trust, still purr when they feel safe, and still find reasons to be happy in a world that has taken so much from them. You know what gets to us the most? How happy our cats are just to see us. Sometimes, they finish eating and still won’t leave. They lie down beside us, rub against us, or just sit there looking at us. And when we walk away, some keep watching us, while others follow us a little before disappearing. It’s hard not to wonder what goes through their little minds. Maybe they just want us to stay a little longer. ❤️ Our AFS cats have so much love to give. They’re affectionate, playful, and full of life, and it hurts to see them struggle for things that should never be so hard to come by. With food getting more expensive, basic necessities becoming scarce, and the cold season approaching, we’re worried about how we’ll manage to keep up. We’re going through these same hardships with our families. We know what it’s like to worry about food, to feel scared, and to have no idea what the coming days will bring. 💔 We never thought life would become this hard. We wake up every day carrying the same fears and worries, trying to get through another day and hold on to whatever little hope we have left. Even feeling safe for a while has become something we can only wish for. Our families are going through this with us, and our cats are part of our families.
