há 23 árbitros na Primeira Liga. 6 são da AF Porto, a AF mais representada. não só é a mais representada como tem até o dobro da segunda mais representada (Braga) e o triplo de Lisboa. não só a AF Porto é a AF mais representada, como ainda há mais um árbitro que nasceu no Porto, mas de alguma maneira está registado noutra AF (Cláudio Pereira da AF Aveiro). há apenas dois árbitros registados na AF Lisboa. nenhum deles é de Lisboa. o Miguel Nogueira nasceu em Braga. o Luís Filipe em Castelo Branco. dos 23 árbitros da Primeira Liga, 13 são do Norte, 1 da AF Funchal, e 9 do Sul, mas só 7 nasceram no Sul. dentro desses 7 estão: António "rasteira com a cabeça" Nobre, Luís "pisão na cabeça, siga" Godinho e Fábio Verdíssimo. os outros quatro em nove jornadas (26 jogos a envolver os grandes) apitaram até agora 0 jogos. há uma concentração do poder da arbitragem a Norte.
