Carrie Soto while being an obvious composition of the Williams sisters, was a fun fierce character to read. That being said a Latino character being written by a non-Latino author sat a little bit weird with me.

Predator Badlands was pretty cool. The most watchable of the movies connecting to the Alien franchise which I still believe to be a sin. Cool to have the lead perspective from the Predator. Very cool action sequences, but both versions of Elle Fanning's characters were annoying
Masterchef s.16 was filmed in Toronto but it’s almost as though Gordon Ramsay went out of his way to make sure Toronto or Canada weren’t said. Not one Canadian chef was included as a contestant. When it opens I’m tempted to make the trip to Hell’s Kitchen Napanee and yell “RAT!”

Despite having some cool fight/action sequences Spider-Man: Brand New Day falls way short of its predecessor No Way Home with too many lag & drag moments connecting too many Doomsday dots. Much like Spidey himself, the movie loses its potency more times than it should.
Ok I bit the bullet and watched “Obsession.” Yeah the hype is legit. Very well constructed horror movie. Inde Navarette deserves her huge props, she was excellent but so does Michael Johnston. Some wonderfully creepy sequences. Big, meets Fatal Attraction, meets The Exorcist
