Happy Thursday guys ❤️
One thing I’m learning as I create content is that growth isn’t just about how much you post.
It’s also about how much you learn, how carefully you research, and how well you explain what you’ve learned to someone else.
Some days, the progress isn’t visible in your numbers. It’s in the way you think, write, and understand things better than you did yesterday.
That’s progress too.
Have a good day, everyone.

@PropyInc auctioned an NFT linked to the apartment for 36 ETH, worth around $94,000 at the time.
But the interesting part wasn't just the sale.
The apartment was held through a US LLC, and the NFT gave its holder rights connected to that company.
In other words, the token was tied to a legal ownership structure. It wasn't simply a digital deed that replaced every part of the traditional property system.
That's an important distinction in real-estate tokenization.
A token can represent different things depending on how the deal is structured: company interests, investment rights, or a mechanism connected to transferring property ownership.
So whenever you see a tokenized property, ask one question first:
What exactly does the token give its holder the right to own?

Now I’m obsessed with tokenization and Onchain finance…😫😫
By the way, how do I get to read all of these articles in one night…😂😂
I’d probably just stay up all night, that’s a joke guys 😂
Gn y’all and stay tokenized.

Real-estate tokenization was already making headlines in 2018.
That October, an offering tied to the St. Regis Aspen Resort in Colorado raised $18 million through digital securities.
But here’s the part worth paying attention to.
The tokens didn’t simply represent ownership of individual hotel rooms.
They represented equity interests in Aspen Digital, the company associated with the resort.
In simple terms, investors were gaining exposure to the property through an investment structure rather than each receiving a portion of the hotel’s legal title.
That distinction is important.
Because when we talk about tokenizing real estate, the first question shouldn’t just be:
Can this property be put on-chain?
It should be:
What rights does the token actually give its holder?
That question sits at the heart of real-estate tokenization.
And it’s where our next chapter begins.

Quick Market Snapshot :
$8.07B vs. $41.27B.
That's the difference between the distributed value and represented value reported for tokenized credit on RWA.xyz on October 26.
Both figures describe the market, but they measure different things.
Putting them side by side without understanding those definitions can leave readers with the wrong impression of how much value has actually been distributed onchain.
In RWA research, the definition behind a number matters just as much as the number itself.

When we talk about bringing real-world assets onchain, the conversation often focuses on the assets themselves.
But there’s another important part of the picture: how ownership is recorded and managed.
That’s one of the problems @fairmint is working on.
Fairmint is building infrastructure that allows company equity to be recorded onchain, with the official shareholder register maintained by an SEC-registered transfer agent.
In simple terms, it brings the record of who owns a company’s shares onto blockchain infrastructure.
Why does this matter?
Traditional equity records often rely on separate systems and databases. Fairmint’s approach is designed to make the ownership record itself work onchain, creating a foundation for other financial applications to build on.
The project is also developing the Open Cap Table Protocol (OCP), an open standard for onchain equity.
What I find interesting about this approach is that tokenization isn’t just about putting an asset on a blockchain.
The infrastructure behind ownership matters too.
Fairmint is one project worth watching as onchain equity infrastructure develops.
The weekend left a few clues about where RWAs are heading.
On Thursday, @JPMorganAM Asset Management expanded access to its tokenized money-market funds on Solana.
Then on Friday, the sec @SECGov named tokenization among the areas it will examine as it looks at risks in financial-market infrastructure.
And over the weekend, the @SolanaInstitute asked the SEC to clarify what should count as a permissionless ledger when it comes to tokenized stock trading.
Three developments, but one thing stands out to me.
Tokenization is moving beyond the question of whether an asset can be put onchain.
Institutions are bringing more products onto public networks, while regulators and industry participants are still working through the rules those markets need to operate under.
And that matters.
A tokenized fund available on a public blockchain is one thing. A market where different participants can trade tokenized securities under clear, workable rules is another.
The technology can keep moving forward, but the market also needs clarity around how it operates.
That’s the part of the RWA story I’ll be watching this week.
