China onshore IPOs have raised $17.7B since July, already above Q3 2023’s ~$17B. 2026 IPO proceeds have now topped $30B, with CXMT alone accounting for nearly one-third.
Nearly 1 in 3 Q3 listings are down 50%+ from post-IPO peaks, while Unitree is ~45% below its first-day high.
YMTC is also seeking ~$4.9B in a planned Shanghai listing.

Inflation has turned U.S. childcare into a luxury: over the past 40 years, childcare costs have surged 873%, far outpacing inflation in housing (350%), food (332%), and transportation (268%). Today, annual daycare costs consume about 15% of the median household income in most regions, with some areas approaching 25%. Childcare is now unaffordable for many Americans.
