When Muslims exercise their democratic rights through peaceful protest & voting they are described as extremist mobs.
When racists attack mosques, homes & businesses they are described as people with legitimate grievances.

And, to be clear, I believe the struggles of people in former pit communities and deprived seaside towns are often similar to those of working-class Black and Asian people in diverse communities. We have to address material need but we can never appease these violent racists.
