Pupils and care home residents were treated to a special event at the @EssexCricket Ground last week to celebrate the Essex Year of Numbers campaign, taking an all-age intergenerational approach to numbers through the sporting theme of Cricket.
As the children are tidying up – Encourage them to put the correct number of pencils or other objects in the marked pots! This supports number recognition, counting and cardinality as well as keeping the classroom tidy! #math #ncetm #primaryteacher #primaryschool
