Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate discuss the Flydubai incident against the backdrop of the Israeli elections and the third anniversary of October 7. They will also cover the right-wing, pro-Trump surge in Brazil and what it means for the Latin America, Trump's spiraling performance at home, and the attempted comeback of the Biden foreign policy team that aided and abetted Israel's destruction of Gaza.

It's really unbelievable how the Western political & media establishment managed to package & resell a shady comedy actor into some sort of globalized Churchillian 'war time' head of state, who, in reality represents the worst kind of villain imaginable - a fake leader who permanently canceled elections, and who's destroyed his own nation for fame & power, and calously sent hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men into the trenches where they were needlessly sacrificed at the altar of Western liberal vanity - and massive profits for Blackrock and NATOs military industrial gravy train. Quite possibly the most depraved acting performance in history. Pity the nation...
๐ฐToday, for the first time, Ukraineโs hryvnia hit 45 to the dollar.
Naturally, Ukrainians are now digging up a 2019 video in which Zelensky proudly congratulates himself on how effective a president heโd turned out to be โ and how all those gloomy predictions about his incompetence had supposedly aged like milk.
โRemember what they told us? The dollar will hit 45 under Zelensky. Thereโll be chaos. Thereโll be war. Well, look around โ none of that happened.โ๐ฅน

๐บ๐ธ Tucker isn't buying the story behind who's running Trump transition operations
He openly questioned why billionaire Howard Lutnick was handed control over key appointments, suggesting the decision traces back to heavy influence from mega donors like Miriam Adelson.
Tucker even tied the timing straight to the Butler shooting and called out federal law enforcement for withholding critical records on who the shooter talked to before opening fire.
The call is for real transparency, even when it means looking closely at the top decisions inside the party.

๐จ๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ท The Iran war has destroyed or damaged 81 US military aircraft worth up to $3.3 billion, including an F-35 and 45 Reaper drones
Twelve F-15E fighters, seven refueling tankers, an F-35 and a $270 million E-3 spy plane... all lost or damaged in seven months, according to the Congressional Research Service.
Three of those F-15s went down to FRIENDLY FIRE over Kuwait in the war's first days.
The Reaper losses alone have shrunk the fleet to 135, way below the 189 the Air Force is supposed to keep ready.
So how long can America burn through planes faster than it can replace them?
With the war bill already at $43.6 billion, every extra month leaves the Air Force thinner for whatever crisis comes next.

Join two classics experts as they discuss the recent box-office smash hit, The Odyssey. Professor Monica Cyrino, of the University of New Mexico, is a leading researcher of classical portrayals in film and TV, and Professor Emeritus Robert Garland, of Colgate University, is an expert in ancient Greek history and religion.
Together, theyโll share their unique insights on The Odyssey, where the plot points of the movie and epic poem converge and diverge, and how these may change the meaning for viewers and readers.
Among other topics, theyโll also discuss why they think Homerโs ancient story of one soldierโs return home from the Trojan War still resonates with us more than 2,500 years after it was first composed, as well as where the themes of the Odyssey have influenced popular culture in surprising ways.

Professor Richard Wolff argues that the political and economic turmoil in the United States and Europe is best understood as the revolt of an empire in decline. For centuries, European powers created a global economy through colonialism, concentrating wealth and industry in Europe, North America and Japan while much of the rest of the world remained impoverished. The two world wars destroyed most of the old empires, leaving the United States in a unique position to inherit much of the global system that European colonialism had built.

๐ฆ๐ท๐ง๐ฏ Fans at Messi's farewell spent the minutes before kickoff calling the head of Argentine soccer a rat.
The chant was "Chiqui Tapia botรณn," aimed at Claudio Tapia, president of the AFA, before the match began.
The stands used the gap to go after the man who runs the federation.
They showed up for Messi and still wouldn't give Tapia a free pass. The song was the receipt.

โญ๏ธ๐บ๐ธ Nine U.S. service members wounded in the March 1 Iranian drone strike at Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, which killed six troops on the second day of the Iran war, spoke on the record to the Associated Press about what they describe as a medical system that left them fighting for treatment on their own.
Lt. Col. Arturo Lincรณn, who suffered shrapnel wounds to his jaw, neck, and spine, including a severed vertebral artery, was sent to barracks and told to seek outpatient appointments after Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany did not admit him. Chief Warrant Officer 4 Rodney Bearman said he and others injured in the attacks were not properly registered as โwounded in combatโ due to a coding error. Maj. Stephen Ramsbottom said he waited over four months for MRI results and has โhad to build my own case for everything.โ
Lincรณn, who still has shrapnel near his spinal cord and struggles with dizziness, told the AP that, following the attacks, in which his passport was destroyed, he was issued a temporary substitute and asked to prove his citizenship in the process (he was born in Texas to Mexican parents and graduated from West Point). He was also denied a Servicemembersโ Group Life Insurance injury claim.

Richard Feynman on God and religion ๐ญ
It doesn't seem to me that this fantastically marvelous universe, this tremendous range of time and space and different kinds of animals, and all the different planets, and all these atoms with all their motions, and so on, all this complicated thing can merely be a stage so that God can watch human beings struggle for good and evil โ which is the view that religion has. The stage is too big for the drama.

โUnconfirmed reports say Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has offered to help Gulf states in a wider campaign against the Houthis. But @andreas_krieg argued that "the Israeli intelligence networks in Yemen are very poor", with Riyadh and Abu Dhabi far better placed.
"That is not something the Israelis can deliver," he said, adding that Israeli involvement could further fracture the anti-Houthi camp and fuel Houthi propaganda, while Tel Aviv may use its assistance as a card to play in its push for normalisation.

๐ธ๐ฆ๐พ๐ช Even Saudi Arabia's holiest cities have faced drone threats.
Malcolm Nance argues that the Saudis have every reason to invoke the joint defence clause of the Mecca agreement.
"If I were Turkey, I'd say, hey, listen, we are going to send you forces, infantry forces.
We will station them in the northeast near the Kuwait-Iraq border so that the Iraqi popular militias don't play around."
Saudi Arabia knows exactly what it needs. The question is why it's moving so slowly to get it.
@MalcolmNance
๐ธ๐ฆ๐พ๐ช Saudi Arabia may be building a much bigger war plan in Yemen.
Malcolm Nance thinks the sudden Saudi-backed gains around the Bab el-Mandeb reveal something important.
The battlefield is no longer being run the way it was before.
U.S. intelligence can map Houthi positions, count forces, track communications and identify weak points. American personnel are reportedly helping Saudi command centers with intelligence and targeting, while U.S. tankers support Saudi aircraft.
That, Malcolm argues, helps explain how government forces could suddenly move so quickly.
But he thinks the more consequential development is Pakistan and Turkey deploying forces to Saudi Arabia.
Not because he expects them to invade Yemen.
โI don't think they'll attack Yemen at all.โ
Instead, Pakistani troops and Turkish air defenses could take over protection of Saudi cities, infrastructure and borders, freeing Saudi forces for the actual fight in Yemen.
And Nance thinks the next objective should be much larger than simply holding the Bab el-Mandeb.
Take Mocha. Threaten Hodeidah. Cut Houthi forces along the coast. Force them to divert troops from Taiz and potentially collapse parts of their line.
โNow the Saudis have a plan, apparently, that is literally being done on U.S. computers.โ
That is where this becomes dangerous.
If the Houthis begin facing an existential military threat, Nance thinks Iran may eventually have to decide whether to intervene more directly.
For now, Pakistan and Turkey may be arriving to defend Saudi Arabia.
But their presence could also free Riyadh to fight a much bigger war.
