How Chandrababu Naidu did the UNTHINKABLE - An inspiring,a first of it’s kind initiative to link two major rivers - PATTISEEMA LIFT IRRIGATION PROJECT - THE FASTEST BUILT MEGA-IRRIGATION PROJECT IN THE COUNTRY - INDIA’S FIRST RIVER LINKING PROJECT WHICH SOLVED THE IRRIGATION NEEDS FOR LAKHS OF FARMERS - A thread 🧵
Every year about 2500-3000 TMC of Godavari water is going into the sea, from Dowleswaram Barrage as surplus..Polavaram project has been planned as a long-term solution to utilize this water, but as the project completion is taking longer than expected..the immediate water and irrigation needs of the state needed a timely, effective solution.
At this point, pre and post independence, the concept or the idea of river linking has been discussed by multiple commissions in national and international seminars and platforms, but without any substantial work, credible initiative, effective plan or a solution..Then entered Chandrababu Naidu, the master of crisis management (1/8)

In their own backyard, the YS faction fort is trembling. This is what happens when fear stops working.
44 years of cases, threats and faction attacks. The Rayalaseema TDP karyakarthas never bent, never ran.
Lokesh Anna Promised Seema jobs over faction. Seema roared..!
2024 shook the faction fort.

India’s former strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai said, “people often tag Rohit Sharma as lazy and fat, but people need to understand that Rohit had a career-threatening injury around his hip in 2017, Champions Trophy. He got surgeries on his hamstring and his hip flexor, around his hip is his weak spot. If he doesn’t train for a minimum of two strength sessions in a week, he is a red flag and that is the scenario for the last 7-8 years. So if he was not working hard, if he was lazy, he wouldn’t have lasted till today”. (Prashant Desai).

Our government stands firmly with the people of Andhra Pradesh as we face the challenges posed by #CycloneArnab. We are making every possible effort to minimise the impact of the cyclone, protect lives and restore normalcy at the earliest.
I have been continuously monitoring the situation, reviewing developments throughout the night and staying in constant touch with District Collectors, senior officials and field-level teams. Our Ministers are on the ground, personally supervising relief and restoration operations.
Thousands of officials, emergency response teams and frontline personnel have been working tirelessly, even through the night and in heavy rainfall, to clear roads, restore power, address public grievances and ensure essential services. Their dedication and commitment are truly commendable.
Our advance preparedness and coordinated response are yielding positive results. I am relieved that no loss of life has been reported so far. Our priority remains the safety of every citizen and providing immediate relief to those affected.
I assure the people that the entire government machinery is fully mobilised and will continue working round the clock until normalcy is restored.
I appeal to everyone in the cyclone-affected areas to remain alert, stay safe, follow official advisories and avoid unnecessary travel until the cyclone's impact subsides. Please remain calm and courageous. The government is with you at every step. Together, we will overcome this challenge.

After Hudhud, CBN stayed in a bus on the streets of Vizag for days, personally monitoring relief and restoration efforts as the city worked toward returning to normalcy.
RTGS, introduced during his government, has since strengthened real-time coordination and governance across Andhra Pradesh.
Leadership is tested in a crisis and that’s where CBN has consistently demonstrated his strength. 🫡
Disappointment finds its way back to the Maganti family and the seven year curse continues…Hope the recognition he deserves comes soon 🤞
