This is a really good episode that dissects what is important to making the 2027 Yankees title contenders and what stands as narratives that won’t impact much of anything.

Chris and I have been ahead of the curve on a bunch of things with the podcast. The varying degrees to which Yankees’ hitters receive data from the staff are one of those things.
Mentioned in here that there is a big disparity between how receptive the Yankees’ pitchers are with analytics compared to their hitters. Been talking about this for a while on @pamsson’s and my podcast: patreon.com/cw/TheViewsfrom3…

Our latest podcast episode is available. We address much of the chatter surrounding the Yankees, including debunking the idea that their issues all come down to not getting enough infield practice.

Chris was on WFAN recently discussing his observations in the Yankees clubhouse after the ALDS loss. He also goes into detail about the Yankees’ lack of killer instinct, which is a topic we’ve been focusing on for months on the pod.
I love how there were digs at the beginning, including how we wanted to set up our podcast, and by the end, they’re pretty much agreeing with everything we’ve been saying on the podcast for months. Respect to them for having Chris on though.

If you’re interested, Randy and I spent a long time yesterday on how the Yankees handle communication with Judge’s injuries and how he runs the show. Personally, I do think it’s a disservice to fans.
