After careful consideration of the recommendations from Governor Holcomb, the CDC and the Clay and Vigo County Health Department, we have made the difficult decision to TEMPORARILY CLOSE all YMCA’s in Clay and Vigo counties – effective 12pm Friday, March 20, 2020.

Based on the new information from the CDC, beginning March 18th: •All Group Ex classes will be suspended •The Vigo County YMCA pool will be closed •Adult sports will be suspended •Facility access will be limited to YMCA members and guest day passes will not be sold.

the YMCA has decided to suspend all youth programs including before and after school care, child watch, kids night out, spring break camp, and school is out Y is in. YMCA hours will remain the same, and adult sports and group ex classes will be offered per normal.

The Y wants to remind all of our patrons to help your fellow community members stay healthy by washing your hands before and after your workout at the YMCA. Please help us keep our equipment clean by wiping off machines after use as well. Thank you! #coronavirus #sanitize #ymca
