The progress of Upper Assam is an important barometer to gauge the development Assam has witnessed in the last decade.
We are working with a comprehensive approach to develop infrastructure in the region, some of which I reviewed or dedicated today in Tinsukia.
👉 A 1,000-seat town hall to boost community activities
👉 A new ISBT to bolster connectivity
👉Site for Swargadeo Sarbananda Singha Samannay Kshetra to preserve our rich Virasat
I also dedicated the region's biggest investment, a part of our #AdvantageAssam effort in the form of an AAC Blocks Plant and a revamped dialysis unit at Tinsukia Medical College to expand nephro care in the region.
These efforts are apart from the ₹200cr I announced yesterday for urban infra development in the district.
Our work in this direction will continue and I will personally monitor each project to ensure their timely completions.
