Ukraine used 47,000 Starlink internet terminals during its war with Russia Soldiers used them to fly drones, share targets, and talk to each other on battlefield. In 2022, Elon Musk personally decided not to turn on Starlink near Crimea because he feared nuclear war. Ukrainian underwater drones heading to attack Russian ships lost internet mid way and failed. Pentagon then started buying terminals directly so Musk could not switch off service on his own. One private businessman had power to decide what military operations could happen After protests in Iran, American government secretly sent 6,000 Starlink terminals into country. Over 100,000 people inside Iran used Starlink to access internet even though government shut down all normal connections. Iran made it illegal to own or use Starlink. If caught using it for spying, punishment is death. For personal use, punishment includes flogging and up to 2 years in prison. We pay 12 dollars for 100Mbps, unlimited broadband in remote village in TN. If one can't afford this, then how can they afford Starlink 😆😆
Starlink in India would enable high-speed, affordable Internet connectivity for those who can’t afford current prices or who don’t have a connection at all!

Let me tell you that your information is misleading @elonmusk 1. Rural India cannot afford Starlink services.. what are you smoking @cb_doge 2. Bharat Net is quite successful and Rural Connectivity in India is improving by the day. Starlink and its high cost cannot help in this case. 3. India leads the world in average monthly mobile data consumption per user at roughly 31 to 36 GB, compared to the USA's mobile average of 14 to 25 GB. 4. The average cost of 1 GB of mobile data in India is roughly $0.09 to $0.16 (about ₹8 to ₹13), whereas in the United States, it averages around $5.62 to $6.00 (about ₹465). 5. India has over 1.5 billion mobile subscriptions compared to around 380 million in the United States @Starlink @reliancejio @airtelindia @VodafoneGroup
India needs @Starlink 🇮🇳 • 11,256 of India’s listed villages still lacked 4G coverage as of May 2026. • India had 1.093 billion internet subscriptions in March 2026, but only 440.87 million were rural. Rural subscription density was 48.31 per 100 people, compared with 126.80 in urban India. • BharatNet had laid over 850,000 route-km of fibre and made about 221,000 Gram Panchayats service-ready. However, its Points of Presence were reported operational at only 80,472 Gram Panchayats in June 2026. • Only 4.26% of India’s internet subscriptions were wired connections in March 2026. Starlink could give underserved communities another route to high-speed broadband. • Starlink has already built 20 gateway sites in India, according to SpaceX Vice President of Starlink Business Operations Lauren Dreyer, speaking at India Mobile Congress today. • Starlink says it has developed India-specific security controls designed to keep Indian user data within India. • Its satellite network could bring high-speed internet to remote villages, mountains and islands where extending fibre or mobile networks is difficult. • Better connectivity could help rural schools access online learning, clinics offer remote consultations and small businesses reach more customers. Starlink already supports education and healthcare in remote communities internationally. • Portable Starlink terminals have supported disaster response around the world. They could give Indian emergency teams backup connectivity when floods, earthquakes or storms damage ground networks. • Direct to Cell could also help ordinary 4G phones connect beyond tower coverage, subject to Indian approvals and mobile operator partnerships. • The government itself identifies difficult terrain, low commercial viability and infrastructure constraints as reasons for remaining coverage gaps. This is exactly where Starlink could help India reach more people. • India should complete the remaining clearances and spectrum allocation so Starlink can begin commercial service. • SpaceX’s Vice President of Starlink Business Operations, Lauren Dreyer, said that Starlink is ready to help achieve Prime Minister Modi’s vision of 100% connectivity across India. She highlighted its potential to connect remote classrooms, support telemedicine and restore connectivity after disasters, adding, “With Starlink, people can get connected within minutes, not years.” India’s hardest-to-reach communities deserve reliable internet too.

You are being too clever by half, dear @elonmusk, and you know it. Saying "11,256" villages sounds a lot. But it is a way of lying with numbers. What if the handle had said, "1.7% of India's villages have no 4G coverage"? That wouldn't fit the narrative, right? And it only gets worse. The post deliberately chooses "4G". Why? Do those villages not have access to 2G and 3G internet? Perhaps you know. The world's richest man who wants so desperately to enter the Indian market with satellite internet coverage should know, right? You, who have talked about the 'Deep State' would know the perils that satellite can pose to national security. The terrorist attacks on Mumbai, better known as the "26/11 attacks", were facilitated, in part, by the use of satellite phones. The terrorists' handlers, sitting in Karachi, communicated with the terrorists using satellite phones and ordered them to kill as many people as they could, including Jews. As for "oligarchs", well, you mean Mukesh Ambani (his mobile and internet company, Jio), yet hesitate to even taking his name. You, who didn't think twice before posting Trump's alleged links with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein! I think that will go down well with most Indians, to see the world's richest man in fear of an Indian🙂 Which brings us to the elephant in the room - racism. It would take a blind man on Pluto to not have seen the explosion of racist screeds and shitposting and ragebait content against Indians over the last year-and-a half on your platform, X. Perhaps it got your platform more engagement. Perhaps this is what the MAGA gang wanted and you obliged to get back in Trump's good books. Perhaps you didn't care about racism against Indians. Perhaps you saw it as a bargaining chip in your negotiations with the Indian govt. In either case, you don't have a lot of sympathy in India because of racism on your platform, Elon. Please stop pretending that there isn't racism on X against Indians, or that you don't know about it. Coming back to broadband coverage. The areas that do not have adequate 4G and 5G coverage are Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, parts of Rajasthan that border Pakistan and which are sparsely populated, the Kutch region (also sparsely populated, what with the world's largest salt pans), Arunachal Pradesh, tracts that are either heavily forested or till recently had suffered from Naxal terrorism. So, what exactly is your target market? Offer satellite coverage in Arunachal Pradesh and China will cut off your businesses at the scrotum before you can say Tesla. Or did you plan to make a killing selling satellite coverage at $50/month in Bihar and Jharkhand, where 4G and 5G plans cost $3/month? Get honest. Get real. nitter.cf/AbhinavAgarwal/status/… myvi.in/vicoverage/ ookla.com/articles/india-mob…

🚨 BIG: MADRAS HC OBSERVES — “HINDUISM IS INCLUSIVE, WHILE ABRAHAMIC RELIGIONS ARE INHERENTLY EXCLUSIVE.” The Madras High Court has refused to grant FCRA registration to Kanzeon Public Charitable Trust, which runs a Zen meditation centre in Kodaikanal. The Court said foreign money being freely used for religious conversions could pose a risk to the country’s sovereignty. It also made it clear that the FCRA rules apply to organisations of all religions involved in conversions, including Hindu organisations. The Court stressed that organisations seeking foreign funding must clearly and honestly disclose their religious activities.
