Great news for the Granada Golf Course. Construction on the new rain shelters begins Monday! This project has been years in the making, and I’m excited to see it get started.
The project includes replacing 9 shelters, 2 of which will be large enough to accommodate golf carts.

Thank you to TD Bank for taking care of some much needed repairs to the entrance of its branch on Miracle Mile.
I recently brought the condition of the exterior flooring to staff’s attention and the bank was quick to respond. What a difference! The entrance looks so much better.
It was wonderful celebrating with Jorge Gonzalez & the entire City National Bank team as they opened their new corporate headquarters in Coral Gables.
Jorge, congratulations to you and the entire CNB family! Thank you for believing in Coral Gables and investing in our community.
It was an honor to welcome US Marine veteran Corporal Wilfredo Jauregui to yesterday’s Commission meeting, where he led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and shared a Semiquincentennial Moment as we approach Veterans Day.

This past weekend, we kicked off Moroccan Days at Ponce Circle Park, a 2 day celebration of Moroccan culture organized by the Consulate. It was great to see so many people come together to experience another culture & celebrate the 250-year friendship between Morocco and the US.
A Reminder that the City Commission meeting is today, Tuesday, October 27th, at 9 am. Attend in person, 2151 Salzedo Street, or watch via YouTube @coralgablestv.
Thank you to the Master Brokers Forum for the invitation to discuss Amendment 3 and the significant savings for property owners. Property values have more than doubled over the last 20 years and the homestead exemption has not kept pace. Amendment 3 corrects that disparity!
Walking by Lee Lincoln truly put things into perspective. I fought to save this 6-acre green space for our children!
We could have taken the money, but I never wavered. Delivering the largest park in the City was always the goal. Today, reminded me of why it was worth the fight.
It is always a pleasure to meet with residents every Friday during my Open Office Hours! Thank you for allowing me the privilege to represent you!
Having offered Friday office hours for 13 years, gives me an incredible sense of pride and gratitude towards our community!

It’s wonderful to see another family business choose Coral Gables to grow its brand and bring something new to our dining scene.

It was a lovely evening celebrating Spain’s National Day. From the Spanish architecture that inspired Merrick’s vision for our city, to the traditions and culture. We are proud to be home to Spain’s consular offices and residence, and I value the strong ties we continue to build.
Congrats to Miami Fine Arts Academy on the opening of their newest location!
This marks the Academy’s 3rd location, and we couldn’t be happier that they chose Coral Gables. As one of Miami’s largest performing arts schools, the Academy is truly a blessing to have in the city!
It was great having @RAndersonCGabls stop by last week’s class at FIU’s @AdamSmithCenter. The Vice Mayor always brings a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to any discussion, and I really enjoyed having her be part of the conversation with our students.
Blessed to join BMI for the opening of their beautiful offices on Miracle Mile!
As the largest performing rights organization, BMI represents music creators across all genres. Their decision to move to Coral Gables speaks to our growing appeal as a destination for businesses!
