Cairo "Corridors" - A Progressive Rock Collaboration カイロ「コリドーズ」 - プログレッシブ・ロック・コラボレーション Featuring Jeff Brockman (drums), Kozo Tsuji (keyboards, Japan), and Kazuhiro Baba (guitar, Japan). It all started when I stumbled across Kozo and Kaz performing a Cairo song on YouTube from a concert in Japan. Blown away by their talent and passion, I reached out. After some fantastic conversations, we teamed up to create a performance video of "Corridors" from Cairo’s second album, Conflict and Dreams. I kicked things off by producing a multi-camera live drum recording of the track and sent the files to Kozo and Kaz. They took it from there, recording their parts with precision and filming their performances. When they sent everything back, I was amazed—their multi-channel audio and video footage was meticulously organized and perfectly synced to my drum tracks. Mixing and editing it all into the final video was a breeze thanks to their professionalism. Kozo and Kaz didn’t just nail the performance; they brought their love for Cairo’s music to life. I’m grateful for their dedication, their friendship, and the honor of collaborating with such talented fans-turned-partners. Cairo’s albums, especially Mark Robertson’s incredible keyboard work, have been on repeat for me. Playing "Corridors" was a tough but thrilling challenge—I loved diving into that classic prog rock keyboard style. Being part of this video with an original Cairo member is a huge honor.
