A historic day for healthcare in Southern Nevada and the entire Silver State! 🏥✨ Joined by Clark County Commissioner @CommishNaft, community leaders celebrated the official groundbreaking of the @Intermountain Health Felicia and Ben Horowitz Children’s Hospital.
Nevada's very first stand-alone children's hospital is on it's way to becoming a reality. Scheduled to open in 2030, this 8-story, facility will feature specialized pediatric care, behavioral health services, a heliport, and an integrated medical office building which will keep families close to home when they need it most.
Located in Commissioner Naft's district on the west side of the Las Vegas Valley, Clark County was pleased to support the Children's Hospital by working with developers to get the necessary land use and design permits for the project.
Thank you to everyone helping shape a healthier future for our children! 💛

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month💕
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Today, I was proud to host a special recognition honoring those making a difference in the fight against breast cancer!
I had the privilege of recognizing Michelle Marie Miller of Think Pink and Stephanie Goets of The Pink Jet for their dedication to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and inspiring hope throughout our community.
It was also wonderful to see the Las Vegas Breast Cancer Warriors, whom I had the honor of recognizing last year, celebrated once again!
Let this month be a reminder that early detection saves lives, and no one should face breast cancer alone.
