People are now losing money without even signing a malicious transaction. And there are 3 things you need to avoid so you don't become the next victim. Please pay attention to this post, as one of these mistakes could cost you all your money. Today, SlowMist warned about a new attack where scammers use fake human verification pages to trick people into saving malicious code as browser bookmarks. Clicking those bookmarks can expose your logged-in accounts to attackers. Last month, a trader lost $600K after a fake Cloudflare verification page convinced him to run a command on his computer. Around the same time, a whale-tracking app called FomoPeek was found carrying malware on Apple's App Store. A wallet linked to the attack received nearly $580K in stolen USDT. So here's what you should NEVER do: 1. Never save or click a bookmark containing code because a website asks you to verify you're human. 2. Never copy and run commands from a CAPTCHA or verification page. 3. Never assume a crypto app is safe just because it's on the official App Store. Always verify the developer before installing. None of these attacks required victims to approve a malicious wallet transaction. We've spent years worrying about connecting our wallets to malicious websites. Now even the tools we use to research coins and track wallets can put our money at risk. Stay safe out there.
