Put the price on the last page of a proposal. 1. Their problem, in their words 2. What changes when it's fixed 3. How you'll do it 4. One past result 5. The price By then they judge the fix, not the number. Our drafts start out loud in VybeScript. Who gets your next one?
Silence after "let me think about it" isn't a no. They got busy. Three days later, send: "Hi Ana, still thinking it over? Happy to answer anything, or close the file if the timing's off." We dictate ours at the desk in VybeScript, then read it once. Who are you waiting on?

UX is so underrated in dictation. If it feels awkward, you stop using it, no matter how accurate it is. What was the one detail that won you over?

Love this. Tools built for some students end up helping everyone, and the teacher using them too is the best proof lol. Which one surprised the class most?

Rambling is the real test. The good ones let you think out loud and clean it up after, so you don't have to talk like a robot. What do you dictate most, prompts or messages?

Use case: the 2 minutes after a client call. That's when you remember everything. 10 minutes later, half of it is gone. Hold to talk, say what was agreed and what's next, let go. Polish turns it into a clean recap you can paste into the email. What do you lose after calls?

Common worry: "I'd feel weird talking to my computer at the office." Fair. Start at home with the stuff you never type out properly: the long Slack reply, notes right after a call. Hold to talk, let go, done. It only listens while you hold. Where would you try it first?

Tip: when VybeScript gets a name wrong, don't just fix it in the email. Fix it once in History. VybeScript learns from your edits there, so the next time you say that name, it lands right. Small habit, fewer retypes. What name gets mangled most for you?

Yesterday I asked builders on X one question: why does your tool exist? Not the link. The why. 14 replies came in. Almost none started with a market. They started with something that bugged them. Mine is simple. I wanted to talk to my Mac instead of typing everything. You?

Use case: the email you keep rewriting. Stop typing it. Say it out loud like you're talking to the person, rambles and all. Formal turns it into clear, structured paragraphs. Your tone stays yours, so it still sounds like you meant it. What email have you been putting off?

Bilingual tip: Client email in English. Team chat in Spanish. Dictate each one in one language, start to finish, then switch for the next one. Cleaner text, fewer fixes. VybeScript does English and Spanish, one language per message. Which language do you think in at work?
5
Dictation tip: don't try to talk the way you type. Say it the way you'd explain it to a colleague. Then let the Clean style take out the ums and repeated words. Talking is for thinking. Cleanup is the app's job.

Agree, names and technical terms are the real test. That's why we let VybeScript learn your own terms and names (we make it, fair warning). Which word does dictation always get wrong for you?

Curious what changed for you on iOS 27. Is it accuracy, punctuation, or editing after? I tested Siri and got a horrible transcription. What do you dictate most on your phone?

Meanwhile some of us are the corner shop: one job, dictation, running on your Mac. Do you want one app for everything, or a few that each do one thing?

Nothing leaves your computer. That turned out to matter a lot for people who handle sensitive information. #dictation #productivity

Saturday tip: the long message to family you've owed for weeks. Say it the way you'd tell them at the table, in English or Spanish. Let go, read it once, send. Clean keeps your words and drops the ums. Who's it for?

We will release a windows version. I’m looking for beta testers. If you are interested let me know. I can reach out again once the beta is ready to be shared.
