Mirai Quest interviewed Blocksky CEO Hikaru Miura and COO Hideki Takita on getting found when people ask AI, not only Google.
A site can rank in search and still be missing from the answer. AI Mieteru is a free check: paste your URL and see a score out of 100 for how readable the site is to AI. A shorter page can then state the name, place, and offer without a full rebuild. It does not guarantee a mention. It makes the facts easier to read. Built for smaller businesses.

A recurring worry for smaller brands is that AI assistants will simply recommend the big, familiar names. A 2026 study (Incumbent Advantage) measured exactly this, and the finding is more hopeful than the worry suggests.
Across three commercial models, when two products were described with identical specifications, the well-known brand was recommended in essentially 100 percent of trials. With nothing to tell the products apart, the model fell back on name recognition. The researchers call this a conditional monopoly, and the word that matters is conditional.
The dominance turned out to be fragile. As soon as the lesser-known product carried even a small genuine advantage, the recommendation flipped. A rating edge of less than a tenth of a star was enough to move the challenger's win rate from under 6 percent to between 64 and 80 percent. Stronger review counts shifted it further. When real quality information was present, the brand name explained only about 1 percent of the ranking, while the product's actual attributes explained the large majority.
For a brand, the lesson is clear and practical. You will not displace a known name by looking identical to it. You displace it by having, and clearly showing, a real point of difference: a better rating, stronger reviews, a concrete advantage a model can read. The study also found that generic authority-style marketing language can move the needle, but that edge erodes as more brands adopt the same wording, so it is not a durable substitute for a genuine distinction.
Helping a brand surface its real, distinguishing strengths in a form AI can read is part of what AI Optimization is concerned with.

How an AI search behaves depends a lot on how the question is phrased. Testing by blocksky, reported this month in Yahoo! JAPAN, put concrete numbers on the difference.
When someone searches with hard specifications, a set budget, a private room, all-you-can-drink, the AI tended to consult a narrow set of sources, around ten, mostly large portal sites. When a similar search was framed around atmosphere or concept, something like a hidden-gem bistro with the owner's personal touch, the AI dug much further, drawing on 46 or more varied sources, including web media and personal blogs.
The difference matters because it changes who gets found. Specification searches reward the big aggregators that hold clean, structured listing data. Concept and atmosphere searches open the door to smaller, more distinctive places, but only if those places have described their character somewhere an AI can actually read it.
For a brand, the implication is practical. If your strength is a specification, make sure the structured basics are complete and correct. If your strength is character, the part that is harder to reduce to a checkbox, then it has to be written down, clearly and in your own words, because that is what an atmosphere-led search reaches for.
Helping a brand express both its hard facts and its distinctive character in a form AI can read is part of what AI Optimization is concerned with.

Your shop's details become a page that AI search can actually read
When someone asks an assistant about a business like yours, the answer usually comes from whatever page the assistant can find and understand. If that page is thin or missing, the answer is thin too.
We built a way for you to fix that yourself, in one sitting, without touching a website.
On SEOAI you create a business profile, and it publishes at You fill in your name, your industry, your location, the services you offer, and the questions customers keep asking you, all in plain language.
Write it the way you would explain your shop to someone standing at the counter. That page is then what AI tools and search engines read when they look you up, so what they find matches what you actually do.
The action today is small: open start your profile, and fill in those five things. Save it, and your page is live at its own address. From there, every lookup has something accurate to land on.

Your shop's AI readiness, graded in under a minute
A customer asks an assistant for a good shop nearby, and you have no idea whether your business shows up in the answer. We built a way to find out before that moment happens. Open and paste your website URL.
No account, no sign-up, nothing to install. In about a minute you get two scores: an SEOAI Score that reflects how ready your site is for AI search, and a Web Score that reflects classic search health.
Both come back as letter grades from A to F, sorted into clear categories, so you can see at a glance which parts of your site are helping and which need attention first. You do not need to interpret a wall of numbers.
You read the grades, you see the weak category, and you know where to start. That is the whole first step. Paste your URL, wait a minute, and read your grades.

AI sometimes cites AI-written sources.
When an AI search engine answers a question, it cites sources to signal that the answer rests on real information. A study released in 2026 (Allaham and Diakopoulos) asked an uncomfortable question about those citations. How many of them point to content that was itself written by AI?
The researchers audited four generative search engines, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, and Perplexity, across 712 real questions in politics, health, and the environment. They found AI-generated sources cited in all four, making up roughly 16 percent of the cited sources overall. The engines also leaned on a narrow set of repeatedly cited domains while surfacing a long tail of rarely cited ones.
The concern is not that AI-written content is always wrong. It is that a citation is meant to carry authority, and when a synthetic page is cited next to an official or expert source, a reader has little way to tell them apart. The signal that a claim is grounded becomes less reliable.
For a brand, this cuts two ways. It raises the value of being a clearly authentic, authoritative source, the kind that stands apart from generic synthetic filler. And it is a reminder that what AI systems say about a company may rest on sources of uneven quality, which is worth monitoring rather than assuming.
Being a credible, verifiable source that AI systems can lean on is part of what AI Optimization is concerned with.
One caveat worth stating: identifying a page as AI-generated relies on detection methods that are imperfect, so the 16 percent is best read as an estimate rather than an exact count.

Your product feed comes back clean and ready for AI search and shopping
Most shop owners know the feeling of exporting a product file and finding the same item listed three different ways, with titles that trail off and descriptions that say nothing a shopper could use.
Platinum takes that file and tidies it up for you. You upload a CSV, a Shopify or WooCommerce export, or a Google Merchant file, and Platinum goes through your listings one by one.
It improves titles and descriptions so each product reads clearly, and it checks your product IDs so the same item is recognised as the same item wherever it appears.
When it is done, you export the cleaned file back to Google, Shopify, Amazon, or Meta, or publish it as Product Pages. Nothing about your catalogue changes on your side until you decide it should. The whole job is one upload and one export.
If your feed has been drifting for a while, start with a single category rather than the whole store, and see how the cleaned listings read before you send them out.

Your Co-Pilot turns each check into plain next steps for your shop
You run a shop, not an SEO department. So after every check on your SEOAI page, the built-in Co-Pilot reads the results back to you in ordinary language and tells you what to do next.
It points at the issue that matters most, explains why it matters for your shop in a sentence or two, and hands you a short action plan instead of a wall of jargon. You do not need to know the vocabulary to follow it.
Open your page, run a check, and read the Co-Pilot's notes at the bottom of the results. Start with the first item on its plan, make that one change, and run the check again to see where you stand.
Each pass gives you a fresh, short list, so you always know the single next thing to do rather than everything at once. It is built for owners and marketers who want clear direction without hiring a specialist.

Your shop can start on SEOAI today without paying anything
You do not need to decide on a paid plan before you see what SEOAI does for your shop. We built the free starting point so a business owner can put one domain in and get a live SEOAI Page, with no card and no setup call.
That page is yours to share, and it shows customers and AI search what your shop is and where to find it.
If you later want more, Gold opens with a 7-day free trial and still no credit card, so the decision stays yours after you have seen the page working. Most owners want to look before they commit, and we think that is the right order.
Start by entering your shop's domain at and claim your free page. If you only want a first impression, the free score takes under a minute and tells you where your shop stands before you sign up for anything.
Either path costs nothing today, and both begin with the same single domain you already own.
