Very good meeting with Vimal Kapur, Chairman & CEO of Honeywell, and Occo Roelofsen, CEO of Power2X, on sustainable aviation fuels and Europe’s energy supply.
The EU is doubling down on sustainable fuels as per our ETS proposal.
Today, we remember.
We remember that 25 years ago, the world stood still.

Great to meet @DIGITALEUROPE today on climate, energy, AI, and digital topics. We spoke about the need for far more clean energy capacity – renewables, stronger grids, interconnectors & storage – plus smarter intelligence to optimise use, balance demand and integrate renewables.

A great pleasure to meet again with 🇯🇵 Minister for the Environment, Hirotaka Ishihara.
🇯🇵 and the 🇪🇺 are exceptionally strong friends and partners. We had a very constructive exchange on climate, namely on COP31, CBAM, electrification, clean tech, clean aviation and maritime.
Great to attend today, along with 🇳🇴@jonasgahrstor, 🇳🇱 @MinPres, CEO Holsether, a major milestone for @yara, for Sluiskil and the Zeeland region, and Europe as a whole: the launch of the EU’s biggest CCS plant.
Yara will capture and liquefy up to 800,000 tons of CO2 per year. 🧵
Today, Yara officially inaugurated Europe’s largest industrial carbon capture facility at our plant in Sluiskil, the Netherlands!
