#29TheFilm Review
My Rating : 3.25/5.
Intense yet soft love story that explores the romance gamut. It is basically a romance drama of self-discovery and hope told through 10 chapters.
Story is about a couple in love from different backgrounds who goes through full spectrum of romance from the initial, lighthearted, and sweet phases (1st half) to intense, dark, emotional depths (2nd half).
What works is the writing of @MrRathna & performance of its lead actors- a brilliant @PreethiOffl and an apt @ActorVidhu. USP is definitely the catchy music & BGM of @RSeanRoldan.
Perhaps the film could have been a little more crisp and has a convenient ending for the feel good moments.
On the whole it is a modern interpretation of romance and Rathna Kumar’s best since Meyaadha Maan.

#29TheFilm 4/5 A beautiful, heartwarming film about love, identity & growing up 💫
A man lost without ambition, a woman chasing clarity and how their journeys collide, drift, and heal.
@MrRathna crafts a simple yet deeply relatable, poetic love story. Soulful storytelling blended with deep emotions and meaningful scenes ✨
@ActorVidhu delivers a neat, subtle, realistic performance 🙌while @PreethiOffl absolutely steals the show, bringing grace & depth 😍 their chemistry is superb💕
@RSeanRoldan ’s music is the heartbeat & elevates every emotion 🎶
Beautiful visuals and neat edit 👍 Good making with impressive technical work 👏
A refreshing, feel-good emotional ride that stays with you 💛 A few lags here and there, but nothing takes away from this simple, heart-touching film that makes you smile and feel deeply ❤️

#29TheFilm - A Decent Romantic Drama that traverses through the life of a man's quest on self-identity during his 29th age. The story is about his fervent love for a girl, his transition from nobody to somebody, but at what cost?
@ActorVidhu has breathed intense soul into his character. He doesn't appear as a new face, but a familiar boy-to-next-door shade. @PreethiOffl is a boon to Tamil Cinema. Even in ordinary scenes, her expressions are excellent.
Three best cherry-picks of the film:
1. Beach Scene
2. Breakup Scene
3. Prison scene between mother-son
Overall, a positive ending with feel-good moments.
Good work by @MrRathna

#29theFilm Review 3.5/5 : A well-written, beautiful, heartwarming love story that captures the feel of romance and heartbreak, from writer & director @MrRathna
What makes it work is the smart and realistic characterisation of its lead. The emotional mind games, career-related anxieties and conflicts are brought out in a subtle manner.
@PreethiOffl is the heart and soul of the film while @ActorVidhu does a neat job. Major plus is the music & BGM of @RSeanRoldan which holds it together.
If you like bitter sweet romances with good music go for it!
