💜 FROM HIP-HOP TO SOMETHING MUCH BIGGER THAN MUSIC! 💜 Most of y’all know me from my hit song “I Got a Man,” but there’s another side of my life that I want to share with you. My mother, Julie, has been living with Alzheimer’s for years, and watching someone you love go through this disease is not easy. He helped the West Coast with their sound and everything. He’s straight from Texas, born and raised in Dallas. People do not give the South, Texas specifically, the credit due for being innovators and icons who created and invented everything. We are always overlooked. I’m so glad he got his long-overdue flowers.
