Wilson Housing Alliance runs a 2-phase recovery house in Everett WA. Workforce readiness training, weekly mentors, second chance employer network, face-verified check-ins and AI wellness insights that help our guys stay accountable to themselves. We also offer a 3 month scholarship so guys without vouchers can still get in the door. Our guys average under 6 months to financial independence. Most programs take over a year. If you want to help someone rebuild, become a monthly supporter. checkout.square.site/merchan…

Dinner at our house tonight was 12 guys, one crockpot, and a whiteboard with tomorrow’s ride plan. That board matters more than motivation. Bus routes, work boots, court times, check in windows. Most relapses we see start when the logistics fall apart first. So we coach logistics like recovery depends on it. Because it does. #RecoveryHousing #Reentry

This afternoon in Everett we did 14 face check ins before 3pm. Kindness matters. But kindness without a bed, a ride plan, and a curfew check is just a nice slogan. We average 176 days to self pay because we run operations, not vibes. #RecoveryHousing #Reentry
It's #SaySomethingNiceDay You never know the kindness you have to offer 💛 Treating people with respect, compassion & empathy; providing support; & following up with loved ones are just some actions we can all take to help others who may be struggling. samhsa.gov/find-support/help…

Lunch break in Everett and I keep thinking about this number. 176 days. That is our average time from move in to self pay at our house. Most programs quote 12 to 18 months. Not because our guys are superhuman. Because we cover the boring blockers early. Bus pass. Work boots. Interview clothes. Daily check ins. Weekly mentoring. Recovery gets real when the logistics get handled. #RecoveryHousing #Reentry

First coffee in Everett and our 530 AM wellness alerts already set the plan before 8. Two check ins flagged low sleep and missed meds so we moved rides and interviews before work. Recovery is won in the schedule, not in a motivational quote. #RecoveryHousing

Tonight in Everett we had two intakes and one hard rule. If you do the work, you keep your bed. That simple rule is why 0 compliant residents have been evicted in our first year. Accountability is not punishment. It is how recovery starts to feel safe again. #RecoveryHousing #EverettWA

3pm in Everett and our staff group text is not motivation quotes. It is bus routes, court reminders, and steel toe sizes. Most programs call that case management. We call it the difference between making a shift tomorrow or going back to chaos. Recovery fails in the boring logistics, not in the speeches. #RecoveryHousing

Midday reminder. Hope is not an operations plan. Between lunch and intakes we reviewed our 47 step intake and this week check in logs. Most houses still use paper sign in sheets and guess who is struggling. We track 2760 face verified check ins so we can catch drift before crisis. #RecoveryHousing #RecoveryTech

Sunday morning in Everett we are not talking motivation. We are running face check ins, mapping bus routes for Monday, and confirming who has steel toes ready. The relapse window for our guys is Sunday night into Monday morning. Structure before the work week keeps people alive. #RecoveryHousing #Reentry

Tonight we bought two bus passes and one pair of steel toes before dinner. If a guy misses day one of a job because of logistics, relapse risk jumps fast. Recovery housing is not rent collection. It is obstacle removal in real time. #RecoveryHousing #SecondChance

This afternoon in Everett we spent 40 minutes fixing an expired ID issue so a resident could finish onboarding at a warehouse job. Most relapse risk is not a dramatic moment. It is paperwork, missed shifts, and shame stacking up. If your program is not solving same day logistics, it is not recovery support. #RecoveryHousing #EverettWA

Midday in Everett and we are doing the part nobody claps for. Bus pass reloads. Steel toe receipts. Interview rides. Check in calls on lunch breaks. People call this small stuff. This is the difference between a bed and a comeback. #RecoveryHousing #SecondChance

First coffee and we are laying out steel toe sizes and bus routes before anyone clocks in. If a guy has a job offer but misses day one because he cannot get there, recovery can unravel fast. We treat transportation and work gear like sobriety tools. That is why our average to self pay is 176 days in Everett. #RecoveryHousing #EverettWA

Dinner cleanup at the house is where honesty shows up. If a guy disappears right after chow, we do a quick check in before that quiet spiral gets loud. Recovery is not big speeches. It is ten small interventions before 9 PM. #RecoveryHousing #SoberLiving

This afternoon in Everett we are doing the unglamorous steps that keep people sober. Bed confirmed. Bus pass loaded. Curfew check done. Progress is real when the logistics are real. #RecoveryHousing
Recovery isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress. Some days can be harder than others, but every step forward matters. Take it one day at a time. For support and resources, visit samhsa.gov/RecoverMe #RecoverMe #MyRecoveryMyJourney

Midday between meetings and we are running intake step 31 out of 47. Phone call with a second chance employer. Bus pass purchase. Drug court update. Work boots order. Most houses call that extra. We call it why our guys hit self pay in 176 days. #RecoveryHousing #EverettWA

Before work we do logistics most programs skip. Face check ins. Bus pass reloads. Interview clothes. Recovery fails in the boring gaps, not in the motivational speeches. We average 176 days to self pay because we treat mornings like mission critical operations. #RecoveryHousing #EverettWA

Tonight after dinner we did our med lockbox check and two guys asked if that Snohomish alert about fentanyl in cocaine was real. It is. In this house we treat every powder like fentanyl now. No shame. Test strips. Narcan. Stay alive long enough to build a life. #RecoveryHousing #SnohomishCounty

Good policy. Recovery only works when people can choose a drug free house with structure and accountability. This afternoon we are doing ride checks, job prep, and curfew planning in Everett while guys rebuild routines. Our average to self pay is 176 days because housing plus expectations beats chaos. #RecoveryHousing #Reentry
AB 255 is on the Governor's desk: It would finally allow state funding to go to permanent supportive housing with drug-free recovery. If somebody wants to get off drugs, we should have a placement for them where they can be away from drugs and fully supported in their recovery.

Lunch break between meetings and we are buying steel toe boots and bus passes before we eat. Most places tell guys to get a job first. We remove the barrier first. That is why our average time to self pay is 176 days, not 12 to 18 months. #RecoveryHousing #EverettWA

After work tonight we do the least glamorous recovery task. Ride board at the kitchen table for tomorrow morning. Who needs work boots, bus passes, or interview clothes before 8am. If we miss that window, missed shift turns into missed rent fast. Recovery is a lot of boring logistics done on time. #RecoveryHousing #EverettWA
