UPDATE: Due to unforeseen utility conflicts, the closure of 4700 South between 5400 West and 5600 West will be extended through Thu Oct. 24. 🚧 Please continue to use alternate routes at 5400 South and 4100 South; bus routes will continue to detour to 5400 South.

Beginning today, 4700 South will close between 5400 West and 5600 West for up to 30 days as crews complete work surrounding the railroad. 🚧 Drivers can use 5400 South and 4100 South as alternate routes; local businesses will be accessible during the work.

The West Valley City Council, last month, unanimously approved the hiring of Ifo Pili as the new City Manager. Mr. Pili will begin working for the city on April 8, 2024. Learn more about Mr. Pili's background at wvc-ut.gov/citymanager.

West Valley City Council Study Meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. followed by Regular Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Both meetings will be conducted in person as well as electronically -- streamed online at youtube.com/user/WVCTV. Agendas are available at wvc-ut.gov/agendas.
