I met Patrick last May when some of the @SOMinnesota athletes came over to my home gym and I was able to give them the news that they were selected to be members of the 2026 Special Olympics Games powerlifting team.
Today, I had the esteemed honor to hang a medal around Patrick’s neck after watching his absolutely awe-inspiring Deadlift attempt at the @SpecialOlympics Games in Minnesota.
It’s impossible to put into words what it means to connect with these athletes on a personal level. Their dedication, commitment, and perseverance is unmatched.
Patrick’s gritty performance was a firm reminder what the human spirit capable of, and inspirational to the highest degree.
Thank you @SpecialOlympics, @SOMinnesota, and @WWE for allowing me to be an ambassador for these games. An experience I won’t ever forget.
"Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt."
The acceptance I’ve been given by EVERYONE upon dropping the mask and returning to #WWERaw has been overwhelming and will be forever treasured by me.
But if I don’t perform and live up to my own expectations, it’ll all be for nothing.
This Monday, Rusev is the first stop on a very important path I’ve defined for myself.
Now or never. Come along for the ride.
