You’d expect a club like say, Worksop Town to believe that non British players don’t have the right work ethic but for an ex premier league club it’s an absolute fucking embarrassment. We have the mentality of a club in the Conference whilst being in the second tier.

No dig at Worksop obviously, but it’s natural for a club at that level to scout regionally & nationally compared to other leagues Why do we continuously a) employ this dinosaur b) employ the recruitment team and c) not scout anywhere outside of retirees and relegated clubs??

Why does he think non British based players don't have a work ethic? What a load of crap! He's basically just narrowed down our scouting network by about 70% by only targeting players from the UK & maybe Scandinavia. How can the owners listen to that & think "Yep, good strategy?"
