Arsenal released him at 13 & Fulham at 16. He stacked shelves at Tesco just to survive
Now he's become Arsenal's 3rd most expensive signing EVER
Ebereche Eze is coming home
I analyzed his data to see if he's worth the hype. Here's what I found out
🧵MEGATHREAD
If Noni Madueke is out then the most balance attacking trio we could field is Eze - Gyok - Havertz
There's no point playing Tzolis or Eze on the LW. The angles dont suit Eze and Tzolis does not have the PnP to make a big impact from the right (especially coming back from an injury)
Havertz as a wide target man (a la Mandzukic at Juventus) with Gyok as the runner makes the most sense. Also Havertz is quite comfortable in those zones Right touchline zones. Moreso than any of our other available players
Rice as a right sided box to box can really make this dynamic flourish
This Brighton team and manager are so good man. They're literally 3 January signings away from guaranteeing CL football next season
1 higher quality Right Back and 2 good rotation options for whatever positions they need them in
Kostoulas has stood out every single time I've watched Brighton this season
Incredible football IQ, he's going to the very top and should be on every big club's shopping list
Fun fact: Since signing for their respective clubs, Gyokeres has more goals (22) than Sesko has starts (21)
Availability is also an ability and we dont win the title last year with had we signed Sesko (Havertz and Merino were injured for most of the season)
What happened to the 90 million purchase who was supppsed to be fhe "Next Haaland"?
🚨 JUST IN: United are exploring the market for centre forwards in January, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin a name under consideration, according to @lauriewhitwell.
If feasible, would you take DCL at Old Trafford, Reds? 🎯

Merino would've been my pick for any other game this weekend but given its Liverpool at Anfield, Iraola is not gonna sit back
We need an outlet as well as someone who can consistently win us territory
For this reason, as bad as he has been, I'm gonna go with Havertz
The tribalism on here is so weird, people lose all objectivity
If you're executing a scissor tackle it does NOT matter if you got the ball. Its a red card for attempting it because it can LITERALLY end a player's career
Its reckless and its got no place in football

Mosquera is and always has been a good to very good CB (ability and potential wise)
Its Arsenal's defensive system and personnel that has made him look much better than he is. Same reason Konsa looks like the one of the best CB itw (he's great but there are many better than him individually)
When you have Arteta's system & are sorrunded by big Gabi, Saliba, Timber, Rice and Raya, you're obviously gonna look better than you are. Even Mustafi would look like a world beater in our current first 11

Im actually pissed about us going out the league cup. These games are great opportunities to get some serious minutes for our young players as well as B teamers. Also a trophy we should be winning waaaay more often (like City)
Massively let down by the seniors last night. Especially Havertz who squandered chance after chance in the final 3rd. This guy CANNOT be one of our highest paid players let alone anywhere close to 285k a week. I hope Berta does the right thing with the extention (Although the ideal would be to sell)
Gyok can't seem to understand he does not need to wrestle with a CB every time. Especially when you end up on your ass, also, every single time
Guimaraes did more in 20 mins to help our chance creation than Zubi in 70, who is now our last choice central midfielder. Even behind Merino. Needs to find some shame and up his game
Mosquera might be rusty but that is no excuse to simply keep giving the ball to the opposition half a dozen times, under no pressure
It was a horror show where our 2 best attackers were 16 and 18 years old + Eze and Øde off the bench
Havertz has been poor for a while but tonight was an absolute disasterclass. Dont think I've ever see him be worse
Knowing Arteta though, he'll probably reward him with a start at Anfield
Havertz and O'Neill should be off for Merino and Eze
Havertz especially has been incredibly wasteful
I'm happy Kane won. I'm happy football won
This man did not deserve to retire without the Balan d'Or (even though its a farce from actual footballing POV it still matters massively from a cultural POV)
To reiterate Ballon d'OR is a prize voted for by journalists. Most if not all of these people have personal biases and less footy knowledge than even the beginner level twitter tactico
Dont take it ooh seriously. Just saw Cubarsi at 12, Rice at 15 and Saliba at 28/29
Clownshow
Arda Guler is basically Mesut Ozil reincarnated. Ozil literally has a catalogue of these passes/assists to Ronaldo lmao
Can see why Madrid were happy letting Paz go. In Guler they've got the best 10 of the current generation

Really really really like Kostoulas at Brighton. 19 year old and plays like a Prem veteran. Physicality really good, agile, great technique as wellnas movement
My starting 11 for Everton:
🔸️Everyone pick themselves. The only 2 positions up for contention were CF and CM
🔸️Im gonna go with Merino up top because Everton are gonna set up in a nasty low block which means our chance creation down the center will be limited. So expect a lot more crosses and no player apart from Gabriel attacks crosses in our side better than Merino.
That said, Arteta is most likely just going to stick with Kai (which is also not a bad shout if he can go back to playing how he was at tje start of the season)
Gyok is definitely much more suited as a finisher in this game (60' sub)
🔸️Guimaraes also continues. There's no reason for him to be benched. He's in a good place, building up momentum and forming new connections. We might also need his outside the box shots as an added threat against this low block
