Guys, let the Kitara FC PRO enjoy. That first flight hits different. I remember my first flight to Tanzania via Rwanda, l had to call a friend to brief me on what to expect. Took like 50 photos and sent them to my Mum & sister on WhatsApp ๐Ÿ˜‚

PSG v Barcelona was a game destined to produce banger goals, jaw dropping moments and footballing brilliance that will be talked about for years! โšฝ๐Ÿคฏ No fear, no intimidation, no team showing the other respect. Just two teams convinced theyโ€™re the best, going all out to prove it. Lovely game of footy man. Both PSG and Barca consistently cancelled each other out w/ world class quality from both sidesโ€” Yamal trivela goal, Doue shift and shoot, Vitinha volley. This is what we watch the game for. Six goals. Two giants. One unforgettable night. We witnessed greatness in the making! PSG were the better side. They created with intent & took their chances. That Champions League clash was pure entertainment from start to finish. Absolute cinema. โœŠ๐Ÿฟ

What was once a magnificent facility now looks like it is slowly falling apart. I witnessed this last evening when Kataka FC hosted Vipers SC at the stadium. It feels like only yesterday that Denis Onyango, Emmanuel Okwi, Simeon Masaba, Farouk Miya, Hassan Wasswa and I were invited to the launch, where President Museveni was the chief guest. On arrival, I went straight to the dressing room, only to be greeted by a sight I could hardly believe. Farouk Miya turned to me and asked, โ€œAbdu, is this the facility we were recently invited to?โ€ All I could say was, โ€œI canโ€™t believe this.โ€ The rubber flooring in the dressing room is peeling off, and the general state of the facility raises serious questions about maintenance. For a complex that is hosting Premier League matches, this is simply unacceptable. How does a facility launched with so much fanfare deteriorate to this level? Government and FUFA must step in before this once magnificent sports complex is reduced to a shadow of its former self. We cannot keep building impressive facilities only to abandon them to decay. Bukedea deserves better.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this from Otafiireโ€™s son โคต๏ธ Finding such beautiful and genuine writings is like looking for gems in sand. But man, planned educated kids fight with regret of resources wasted. Those were proper high brow insults to Kabanda that he canโ€™t recover from. I hear โ€œdangerously denseโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚
Good morning, Kabanda (Intellectual Jaundice). His original rank of Colonel was indeed honorary along with his mates for reasons which I am not at liberty to discuss. That is a matter of historical record, not a revelation. However, an honorary appointment in the early NRA must not be confused with an absence of military service, training or subsequent formal promotion. For perspective, Eriya Kategaya held service number RO/00002, while Kahinda Otafiire holds RO/00014, placing him among the earliest recorded NRA serving officers. What do you have fuck face ? In 1991, Otafiire undertook a standardised officersโ€™ course covering the progression from Platoon,Company, Battalion, Brigade command to Division command, alongside officers including Col. Tom Butiime, Col. Amanya Mushega and Lt.Gen. Henry Tumukunde and others that have passed on. The relevant military training records can establish the precise qualifications. Otafiireโ€™s military service predates the NRA. During Idi Aminโ€™s dictatorship, he participated in clandestine mobilisation and recruitment for FRONASA, helping recruit men such as the late Maj. Gen. Fred Rwigyema, Maj.General Chef Ali Gen. Ivan Koreta. He was among the early FRONASA . He subsequently participated in the 1978โ€“79 liberation struggle against Idi Amin and joined the NRA in 1981, serving as Chief Political Commissar during the Bush War. He served as the Director General of ESO from 1992-1994. Between 1998 and 2001, he served as political head of Ugandaโ€™s military expedition into the Democratic Republic of Congo. Finally, President Museveni, acting as Commander-in-Chief on the advice of the Army Commissions Board, formally promoted Otafiire from Colonel to Major General upon his retirement to join politics. This was an official military promotion, not merely the continued use of an honorary title. Nota Bene: Find an interpreter to make you understand the above facts, like a 5 year old infant . Not because you are a civilian but because you are dangerously dense.

This international break feels completely pointless. We just finished the World Cup, and they still made it three weeks long. Weโ€™re only in the second week. A one-week international break wouldโ€™ve been considerate, but a whopping three weeks is totally unacceptable. ๐Ÿ˜ก

A man of great strength and grace. As talented a musician as he was a footballer. The epitome of class. An sudden unexpected sharp painful grief for our artistic & football family. An unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. The music remains. The saxophone lines remain. The songs remain. Go easy, Papa Moi ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Long before some charlatans came up with the pay-per-view television concept, our legendary ๐™๐™๐™‘ was broadcasting ๐™๐™ค๐™ค๐™ฉ๐™—๐™–๐™ก๐™ก ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™™๐™š ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™‚๐™š๐™ง๐™ข๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ฎ in the early 90s. The Transtel production would be on our grainy black & white tellies two weeks after the likes of Andy Moller, Oliver Kahn and Jay-Jay Okocha had played the actual games. But we didnโ€™t not care, really. Actually Football Made in Germany made so many Ugandans growing up at the time fall in love with the European nation of Germany. We just found ourselves supporting Die Mannschaft fervently and Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern became household clubs. We were made to believe that Football was really made in Germany at the time.
Don't mention your age, just name a TV show you watched as a kid.

African aviation is so sickening. A journey that started on Wednesday around 1:30am from Entebbe, Uganda ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฌ to Doha, Qatar ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ‡ฆ & now we are in Casablanca, Morocco ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ waiting to connect to Nouakchott, Mauritania ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ท around 11:45pm (CAT). Connection to some countries within the continent is hectic & pathetic. ๐Ÿฅบ

Our taps are as dry as a desert. We have gone a month now without water in Kitende and surroundings, @nwscug. A jerrycan from well water goes for 1,000/= on a daily. What could be the problem? This area always doesnโ€™t have water & thereโ€™s no clear explanation to that effect.
