YouTube vs. Bittensor
No, you read that right. I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time now.
YouTube came about in 2005, when the internet was a newborn baby just starting to walk. YouTube allowed anyone in the world to make and upload videos that anyone could see. Who gets rewarded? The best creators, the ones who make videos people like. Now, this isn’t really decentralized, but it says something. Google bought YouTube in 2006 for $1.65B, quite a good price for a “decentralized network” for video creation and consumption, right? Today YouTube is estimated to be worth around $475B-$500B, roughly a 300x return.
Now compare that with Bittensor. It speaks to how things go. Since YouTube, users have gotten a better product than before, and the freedom it allows lets anyone express themselves and become something from literally nothing, regardless of background, skin color or gender. There’s no gatekeeping from the big television networks.
I believe this is what Bittensor is becoming, but on a much larger scale. It could be groundbreaking, a new form of company, where the higher the price goes, the more talent it attracts, and the better the product the network creates. YouTube was the proof of concept. Bittensor is the real endgame. bittensor:native
Data has to move before compute can use it. Beam (
@b1m_ai
) is a decentralized data movement network on Bittensor Subnet 105. Independent operators move data between existing clouds and storage. It’s transport, not storage. b1m.ai a cool concept that can work. Never really thought of this myself and how it can be applied on a subnet but a concept worth digging into for sure #ad
"why are you still holding bittensor:native it's going $0"
I hold because I believe it's needed for freedom. We just saw how a big AI company restricted so you can't copy games on their model which can seem harmless but it's just the beginning of how closed AI will become in the near future.
You have to fight for your freedom. That's why my chips are on bittensor:native
If bittensor:native goes from $229 - $849 I would feel nothing
We have been at those prices with like a fraction of what we have produced in subnets today. I think fair value is so much higher. A lot of catching up to do. My targets are $20,000+
bittensor:native will be quicker to reach absurd valuations, It's gonna catch up like super fast once subnets production gets better which I think is like some months away.
Apparently something happened in some election somewhere but I was too busy looking at the bittensor:native chart
I'm not easy to tackle down. I won't lose conviction on bittensor:native easy lol. I love Bittensor so much I think the world needs it.
I literally can't buy altcoins anymore. I researched an altcoin yesterday because I was interested in buying it and all I was thinking to myself was "why haven't you guys just done a subnet" Why do you need your own token. All roads lead back to bittensor:native for me.
Every once in a while something really important comes about I think that is bittensor:native for this decade
