It’s worse than I had thought. The Azerbaijani government is now demanding girls to also remove their hijabs. All hijabi women and girls have been kicked out from school, both students and teachers. Many men and women have already been arrested. The Baku government is oppressing muslims even though majority is Muslim.

The Azerbaijani government has demanded teachers to wear specific clothing, which includes veiled/hijabi female teachers to either remove their headscarves or resign. It’s important to note that 96-99% of the Azerbaijanis are muslims.
