$250K Raised for Walt in 24 hours. This is the best story in America right now. It’s not every day we’re reminded how much good there still is in our country. Yesterday, we shared the story of Walt, a hardworking father of four and Red Baron employee who was humiliated by a TikTok nuisance streamer in a cruel prank. We wanted to help Walt and began looking into setting up a GoFundMe. Thankfully, one had already been created. Today, we are thrilled to announce that in just 24 hours, he already surpassed the fundraising goal. This is what makes America special. The American worker is the backbone of this nation. They keep our country running, provide for their families, and show up day after day, often without the appreciation they deserve. Too often, hardworking Americans are taken advantage of, mocked, and kicked to the ground by scammers and fraudsters. But this time, Americans came together and turned an act of cruelty into an incredible act of kindness. Walt represents millions of hardworking Americans who deserve dignity, respect, and a little good fortune.

This is the Oxyrhynchus Hymn, dated to the late 200s AD. It is the earliest known Christian hymn manuscript with both lyrics and musical notation. A plain English rendering of the surviving words: “Let all creation be silent. Let the shining stars be still. Let the rushing winds and rivers cease. While we sing to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, let every power answer: Amen, amen. Strength, praise, and glory forever to God, the only giver of all good things. Amen, amen.”
