The local station is running an all-day 1970s TV marathon.
I’ll be watching All in the Family... are you joining me, or watching one of the others?

Watching my son play some Fortnite at lunch. Absolutely amazing graphics.
I wish I could get into video games again. I used to love them. Last day of summer break!!!

Boys, am I right? IYKYK…😂😂😂
If you’ve got boys, you can probably relate to every one of these clips. Mine are grown and still do some ridiculous stuff. 😜
I wonder how I survived them when they were little but I would not trade a single minute. Enjoy the chaos! 😳🤣😭

This woman in a white dress is walking along the marina at night with her friend, then suddenly jumps (or falls) straight into the water and next this happened😱 😱

Would this make you feel more safe if schools were run like this in our country? This is a school in China.
Every morning starts like this: security at the entrance, controlled access, and staff watching who comes in and out. Would this make you feel safer as a parent — or is it too much?

This is peak “summer is officially over and I’m thriving” energy.
While the kids are still deep in that “five more minutes” denial phase, mom’s already in the robe, coffee locked and loaded, dancing like she just won the lottery. Because for a lot of us, the first day of school isn’t just about backpacks and lunch boxes. It’s the quiet return of a little structure, a little peace, and the sweet knowledge that the constant “I’m bored” soundtrack finally has a pause button.
The funny part is how temporary that pure joy feels. By week three the same mom is probably side-eyeing the clock, negotiating with a kid who “forgot” their folder again, and wondering where that dancing woman went. But that first-morning burst? That’s real. It’s the relief of knowing they’re safe, learning, making friends, and giving you back a few hours that actually belong to you.
Parenting is full of these little resets. We don’t always get them handed to us clean. Sometimes we have to create the energy ourselves—robe, coffee, and all. And honestly? Watching someone lean all the way into the celebration instead of the dread is a good reminder. The kids will survive the early mornings. The house will survive the sudden quiet. And that mom energy on day one is pure fuel for the months ahead.
Tag the parent in your life who wakes up like this on the first day… or the one who’s still pretending summer isn’t over.
It’s going to be interesting to see who the democrats will pick to run in the 2028 presidential election.

Smooth Moves 🤯
Watch how mastery hides in plain sight.
A gymnast flows through a controlled hand-to-foot sequence on the mat like the floor is an extension of their body. Seconds later a construction worker in full high-vis gear and hard hat casually kick-flips a shovel on an active road site with the same clean timing. A dancer threads a hallway with precise footwork, a snowboarder rotates mid-air over powder, BMX riders pull height and rotation on dirt and concrete, trampoline athletes launch into flips, and a martial artist snaps a high kick on a rocky beach.
These aren’t random viral clips. They demonstrate the same underlying principles: balance under momentum, timing that absorbs force instead of fighting it, and thousands of deliberate repetitions that turn difficult into automatic. The “blue-collar kick flip” especially stands out—skill doesn’t require a specialized arena or expensive gear. It shows up wherever someone decides to put in the work.
Human movement at this level is a quiet reminder that coordination, spatial awareness, and focused practice are available in any environment. The smoothness isn’t luck or filters. It’s the visible result of invisible hours.

Even Monty Python saw the absurdity.
In their sketch, men declaring “I want to be a woman” was pure comedy at the time—everyone knew biology doesn’t bend to wishful thinking. No costume or assertion turns a man into a woman or lets him have babies.
Today the same claim is treated as truth. Reality hasn’t changed. Monty Python mocked the lunacy; we’re now expected to applaud it.
Shouldn’t we all go back to mocking this lunacy?

I feel truly honored whenever Woody the wood stork visits my yard. There’s something special about seeing him wade through the shallow rain puddles alongside the ibises, making those funny little clacking sounds with his beak as he searches the water. It feels like a quiet gift from nature—a beautiful reminder that even an ordinary rainy day can bring something extraordinary right to my doorstep.
I never take his visits for granted. Watching Woody move through the water, surrounded by the ibises, makes me feel connected to the wild Florida that exists right outside my home. He may simply be looking for a meal, but to me, his visits are a little piece of magic.
