Crypto moves fast. We move faster.
Even after the largest crypto exchange hack in history ($6.3B), Binance reserves have still risen over the past two days.
Users aren’t fleeing. Capital is sticky. The exchange is already covering 90%+ of the loss with its own funds, SAFU, and insurance while freezing ~$3B on-chain, and major assets are fully backed again on the new PoR snapshot.
This is not 2022. The system absorbed a historic shock, replenished, and kept inflows coming.
If that doesn’t make you more bullish on crypto’s resilience and institutional depth, nothing will. 🚀
Did crypto just get steam rolled into regulation 🤷🏻♂️

⚡ BREAKING: Binance estimates a $6.3 billion impact from the security incident that drained hot wallets across multiple chains in about 20 minutes late yesterday.
That scale is roughly four times the previous record from the 2025 Bybit incident.
The structural point is the speed of the multi-chain drain through signing infrastructure rather than key theft, and how quickly stablecoin freezes limited the attacker’s usable balance.
Hanwha Investment & Securities just locked Chainlink’s data standard and CCIP in as the official plumbing for its global RWA tokenization platform.
A Fortune Global 500 securities house is treating trusted pricing, NAV data, and single-connection cross-chain movement as the default way to issue, distribute, and put high-quality assets to work as collateral, instead of building custom rails for every network.
The joint working group is now writing the valuation and reserve rules those tokens will need, lined up with Korea’s tokenized securities framework expected in February 2027.
This is how a large traditional desk starts treating onchain infrastructure as the mobility layer rather than a pilot.
The real signal is whether those collateral standards actually get used by other Korean and global participants for borrowing against the tokens.
Binance will cover all losses.
As a precaution, all deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended while our team conducts security checks, freezes funds, and works with law enforcement.
We are working around the clock and will share a full post-mortem once the investigation is complete. Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates.

When crypto people say you can see everything onchain, this is what they’re talking about. ⬇️👀
Binance hot wallets lost ~$6.28B across 8 chains today. $6.07B went in the first 55 minutes, and the attacker kept re-sweeping one Ethereum wallet for two more hours.
Since then Tether, Circle, Ripple, Paxos, World Liberty and Binance have frozen ~$2.80B. About $3.27B can still move, mostly BTC and ETH.
I traced it all on-chain, including how the attacker raced the freezes 🧵
Tokenized stocks can now hold a continuous price through the weekend because Chainlink just closed the last gap in market data.
The Bank of England just treated tokenized collateral as usable under the rules that already govern central clearing.
It launched a consultation today saying the existing framework is not a barrier provided the tokenized form can still be valued, transferred and realized when needed, including under stress. That is the actual test. Same risk, same outcome, no separate regime required.
The practical change is faster response to margin calls and cleaner collateral mobility across borders without forcing desks off the official clearing rails.
The consultation runs until 12 February 2027. The signal that matters next is which UK CCP files the first application and how quickly the Bank clears it, because that timeline becomes the template every other clearing house will measure against.
The parent of the New York Stock Exchange is putting Hyperliquid’s perpetual engine behind a dedicated US market for 24/7 futures on stocks, indices, commodities, FX and crypto.
🔥 just in: Solana’s distributed RWA value just crossed $5.19 billion, a new all-time high and up 20.75% over the past 30 days per rwa xyz.
🚨 JUST IN: Former SWIFT CEO Lazaro Campos joins OpenTrade as Chairman.
OpenTrade builds the infrastructure that lets fintechs and wallets offer dollar and euro yields on stablecoins backed by real world assets. The platform now holds $300 million in TVL after processing more than $1 billion in volume over the past year.
1/ The core plumbing of US securities markets just got a production onchain path. DTCC turned on its Tokenization Service today so major firms can mint regulated digital twins of securities that stay under DTC custody.
