Football has its problems. In truth, there are more bad days than good. But in Austria stories of snooker, brain injury recovery and communist radio told me why we do it.
A tale ft three nationalities, a confused wife and Sheffield Wednesday👇

As you may be aware, we have recently lost a special member of The Wednesday family.
You may not have known @Beastie_ , but you will have certainly seen images of him celebrating the good times we’ve had.
He followed the lads up and down the country for years.
On the 63rd minute of tomorrow’s game, can we all come together for a minute’s applause in recognition of Steve’s life as a Wednesdayite and passion for the club.
Please share and repost this to raise awareness and give as many Wednesdayites as possible the chance to show their appreciation for a great guy who has gone way too soon.

Rip Beastie..😔🙏
Some extremely sad news has come our way. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of @Beastie_ , who has sadly passed away.
RIP our friend, you will be sorely missed 💙

I’ve covered World Cups, I’ve covered Champions League finals, I’ve seen some of the best players in the world play live…
This is - hands down - the greatest football game that I’ve ever covered live. And I cannot imagine that ever changing.
#SWFC, you beauties. I’m shaking.
