Remember when Mike Clay & others ranked Penei Sewell middle of the pack & were even quote tweeting and trying to victory lap their "yeah but wait until he has to adjust to playing LT" takes 😭😭😭

So much eye candy on this chunk play by DET. Start in a bunch to the offense's left with LaPorta as the nub TE. Motion ARSB across the formation, and he stops in between Miller and LaPorta. Guard pulls but it's for PA, and ARSB releases through C-gap. Entire 2nd level moves

Grover Stewart is one of those players that’s never got the national recognition but is a GREAT player!!
Talk to anyone in OL/DL and they will tell you have much of a technician he is!
Would be an absolute STEAL of a contender could snap him from Indy!

Looking at the Lions' run game vs. the Vikings' run defense, I'm using EPA charts by @csv_enjoyer to show where each team wins.
The Lions have had success running behind their guards and Sewell, but the biggest advantage on the ground this week will be running Gibbs behind #58

Thought it was telling how Vikings DC Brian Flores talked about Lions QB Jared Goff this morning... Said he had been thinking about Goff's career this morning.
"Period. He's been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL over a good amount of time. He's grown quite a bit."

A very clear example of the risk of a major trade deadline move.
Feel like we need to highlight those just as much as the trade deadline wins.

Jared Goff’s toughness in the pocket remains impressive as hell. What a throw.
I wish the people in the comments read and understood why this is being talked about. I think someone should do a history on Brad Holmes trade deadlines and do it in context to the rest of the league. It’s not as bad as these people bitch he doesn’t do.
