Having seen these as a neutral, this is almost as farcical as the red cards themselves.
The appeals against the red cards issued to Kai Payne and Kane Drummond have been unsuccessful.
Both players will now be suspended for the matches against Northampton, Sheffield Wednesday and Shrewsbury. #oafc

Incredible decisions. Smacks of Pro Ref closing ranks because the consequences of their admitting fault on Saturday go much, much further than they are prepared to go.
Their non-accountability is a problem not just for Latics, but for football as a whole.
We're waiting for Pro Ref comment on their ref selection policy but will publish further analysis of Rock's bias whether they comment or not on Thursday. #oafc

Surely this should be taken further and to higher authorities. This reeks of corruption, the @EFL don’t want to admit that their ref had a howler, and clearly has an agenda against Oldham. @FA #oafc

Gotta be one of Mellon’s strongest interviews this. He felt something Saturday and I feel like somethings changed in him in the past week #oafc

In my 36 years of watching #oafc, I've never seen anything like it. How is he a ref?2 red cards that never were+countless yellows. Our lads were afraid to tackle, in case they got booked or sent off!9 men + subs did us proud & could easily have gained a draw. They were shattered💙

Surely Paynes gets overturned assuming we appeal. It's not even a booking. This angle is mega
