Tiger Woods walked right past me and sat down at the breakfast table next to mine. I was sitting inside The Grove XXIII, Michael Jordan's private golf club in Florida. You cannot buy your way into this club. It is invite-only, guarded like a fortress, and built for the best: billionaires, sports icons, and world leaders. Sitting there, I realized this was the exact same story repeating itself. How does an undrafted fullback cut from the NFL break into private equity in the same building as Dallas Cowboys headquarters? Relationships. How does a start up founder building from scratch end up in The Grove having breakfast next to the greatest golfer alive? Relationships. Most people treat access like a transaction. They pitch immediately, ask for favors, or tell themselves they don't belong. That is why most never get in. The truth is, this invitation was eight months in the making. It started with a last second 24-hour trip nobody asked me to make. In February during NBA All-Star Weekend, I flew out for a exclusive dinner hosted by Blake and Taylor Griffin. That night, I met Michael Jordan's son, Jeffrey. We ended up jamming all night on sports media, brand building, and the future of athlete business. When I got home, I put the law of reciprocity to work. When you create real value for someone first, human nature creates an urge to return the favor. Everything in business comes down to being a giver, a problem solver, and helping others win. A rising tide lifts all boats. For eight months, I asked one question: How can I help you achieve where you want to go? I stayed in touch, shared ideas, introduced strategic connections, and focused on being useful without asking for a thing. Eight months later, Jeffrey invited me to The Grove. Look at what happened in less than a year. One intimate dinner led to eight months of building trust, which led to being invited to one of the most exclusive clubs in the world. Walking through those gates, seeing the Black Cat statue, and sitting at breakfast next to Tiger Woods proved one thing to me. The power of compounding relationship capital. That is the second and third order impact of being in the right room. It is not just getting into the room. It is how you maintain, nurture, and grow those relationships. We need more intimate, curated events like the one Blake and Taylor hosted, bringing athletes, founders, and investors together. I spent years quietly building a massive network across family offices, next-gens, sports owners, VCs and founders. Now I'm formalizing it. That is why I am launching an AthleteOS community with some of the biggest brands and investors at the intersection of culture and capital. We are launching soon and keeping the initial rooms small and elite. If you are a current or former athlete, investor, or founder building at the intersection of culture and capital and want early access: my DMs are open!

This Is Not Your Grandfather’s Treasury Market. Hedge funds are now dominant players in the 10-year futures market, and their short is one of the largest on record. Bessent knows this. As of the September 29, 2026 report, leveraged funds were short 2.04 million contracts, about 36 percent of the market. The peak was 2.53 million contracts, roughly 45 percent of open interest, on August 26, 2025. The position has eased since then. It has not returned to normal. History makes the scale clear. Before 2023 this short rarely rose above 1 million contracts. In the 2008 crisis it reached only about 10 percent of the market. In the 2022 bond selloff it reached about 18 percent. From 2006 through 2021 it often switched between long and short and stayed far below today’s level. The old Treasury market was shaped mainly by banks, dealers, and long-term investors. The buildup that began in 2022 put hedge funds at the center: a larger and more persistent short than in prior cycles. That is concentrated exposure in the benchmark rate that prices mortgages, corporate debt, and government borrowing. Is this why the bond vigilantes are ignoring the data? A short this large does not need a fresh inflation print to keep yields high. It just needs the Fed to continue with its old flawed playbook. Now you can see why data that shows inflation declining is ignored and questioned. The position is already on, and a softer print is a threat to it. The other side is the unwind. If that crowd has to cover at once, a squeeze of historic proportions could follow, a rush to buy back a position bigger than anything seen in 2008 or 2022.

Don’t believe the polls. There will be no blue wave. Once again, fake polling, designed, not to inform but to persuade & suppress turnout, are misleading voters. I know what I’m talking about. As a twice elected Dem governor and 3 time elected Dem Congressman, I never lost an election. Trust the people. They won’t be fooled. Collins wins in Maine, Texas & Kansas stay Republican, & El-Sayed loses in Michigan.

The private equity takeover of local veterinary clinics is one of the most predatory scams happening in America right now. Last month, our 3-year-old rescue dog threw up twice and seemed a little lethargic. Just acting off. We got nervous and rushed him to the local 24-hour emergency animal hospital. Before a vet had even stepped into the room, the receptionist slid an iPad across the desk: "Emergency exam intake fee is $385 non-refundable just for the doctor to evaluate him." Fine. You pay it because you love your dog. The vet walks in, checks his gums for twenty seconds, feels his stomach, and walks back out. Five minutes later, she returns with a printed estimate: Full blood panel: $650. Abdominal ultrasound: $900. Overnight hospitalization with IV: $1,400. Exploratory sedation: $800. Total estimated cost: $3,750. I asked the vet: "He ate a weird piece of grass earlier. Can we just start with an anti-nausea injection and monitor him for a couple of hours?" The vet looked me dead in the eyes with a straight face and said: "You can do that. But if he has a complete gastrointestinal blockage, he could go septic and pass away by sunrise." Pure emotional manipulation. They know your pet is family, so they hold your empathy hostage to hit corporate revenue quotas. We declined the package, paid the exam fee, and took him home. Fed him white rice and boiled chicken. Two hours later, he drank a bowl of water, took a long nap, and was running circles around the yard by 8:00 AM the next morning. Massive private corporations bought out almost every neighborhood mom-and-pop vet clinic, turned them into profit mills, and weaponized our love for animals into maximum billing. Has modern veterinary medicine become an emotional shakedown, or are people just ungrateful for specialized care?

My trolls are awfully loud for $SPY sitting in the same area price has rejected the last FOUR times. 😂 Yields are rising. Crude is back above $90 and remains a problem. And the TTM Squeeze is STILL squeezing. Go look at the previous expansions in 2025 and 2026. Until this squeeze actually releases, I’m not convinced this move has legs. But here’s what I find interesting… Bulls AND bears have been right. Just at different times. The bulls have owned the bounces. But what happened after the last four pushes into this area? Lower highs. And what followed? Lower lows. Have the bulls produced four consecutive higher highs from these tests? No. So enjoy your moment. Troll away. 😂 The level that matters hasn’t changed. Clear the Keltner Channel. Clear the Bollinger Band. Clear the overhead liquidity. Then I’ll respect the possibility that this is actually breaking out. Until price proves that, I still expect this move to reject. And if it does break through? I change with the evidence. Just like I did whenever we broke out above 760 and I rode the move to 780. That’s the entire point of trading levels instead of emotions. Remember, I'm the guy that was screaming to buy the dip in the low 720s back in June, calling for 780 by August. When nobody wanted to buy it. Thank you. — TJ $SPX $SPY #SP500 $ES_F $QQQ $NDX $CL_F #US10Y $TLT

FOMC minutes from the rate hike drop Wednesday! That will get market attention this week. The minutes could suggest Feds are ready to hike again soon or they planned to wait (more likely). Full calendar 👇

I wanted to personally invite you to Kyle’s Celebration of Life on October 9th at 8 PM ET, following the truck race. I really want this to be a night where the entire NASCAR community can come together to celebrate Kyle, his life, and the legacy he leaves behind in the sport we built our lives around. It’s a chance for everyone to share memories, hear from some special speakers from within the industry, see his cars and trophies, and celebrate everything that made Kyle who he was. We’ll also have a drone show, country music, and so much more. The event is free to attend, and I would truly love to see you there. Thank you for loving Kyle and our family and for continuing to support us through all of this. 🤍

If you don't want to make mistakes, I doubt you will be super successful because failure is the best teacher. Also very important to learn from mistakes and not repeat them!

Everyone’s feeling better after today’s rally. I’m still watching the exit. S&P 500 +0.73% Nasdaq +1.19% Dow +0.49% Good day for stocks. But the 10-year yield is still sitting around 5.28%. That matters. Going into next week: 🟢 Don’t fight the trend 🔴 Don’t chase green candles 👀 Watch bonds, oil, and inflation After 20+ years in the market, I’ve learned this the hard way: When everyone starts relaxing, I start paying closer attention. Enjoy the weekend. Monday should be interesting.

REPUBLICANS At 35% voter turnout, you lose. At 65% voter turnout, you win most of the time. At 75% voter turnout, you get a congressional majority and can actually pass policy. At 80% voter turnout, you get a supermajority and can pass the agenda. Democrats only hold power because voters allow them to. GET OUT AND VOTE… VOTE RED

Since the advent of Bitcoin in 2008, the crypto asset market has grown from a niche curiosity into a multi-trillion-dollar asset class to which investors actively seek exposure. Unfortunately, our rules and regulations have not kept pace. To that end, today’s proposal would provide a clear regulatory framework for the custody of crypto assets, giving investment advisers and funds a compliant pathway where none existed before—and replacing the grey of uncertainty created by custody rules crafted for a bygone era.
TODAY 🚨: The Commission proposed new rules and amendments to provide a tailored framework for the custody of crypto assets for registered investment advisers and regulated funds, i.e. registered investment companies and business development companies.
