We @Wing_VC are thrilled to partner with the Ultra Robotics team.
We've seen a lot of impressive robotics demos, but far fewer real-world deployments.
Ultra is building with deployment at its core, focused on making robots work reliably, deliver real customer value, and scale in the real world.
Robotics has a distribution problem. Today, Ultra is announcing $62M in funding to solve it, including a $50M Series A led by @hiFramework.
We believe that deployment is the bottleneck in robotics.
It’s relatively easy to make a robot look impressive in a controlled environment. It’s much harder to put a robot into the open world, make it useful, keep it running, earn the trust of the people working alongside it, and do that over and over and over again.
So that’s what we’re focusing on.

I met leaders from across the enterprise world and got chance for meeting @awscloud CTO, @SierraPlatform founder, @Alfred_Lin @Dropbox CTO. Grateful for the conversations and for everyone who shared their thinking so openly.
My biggest takeaway: the AI conversation is shifting from “What can it do?” to “Can we trust it to do the work?”
Agents, enterprise AI, robotics the demos are exciting. Making them reliable in the real world is where things get interesting.
