I never realized just how perfectly Harry Potter would work as an anime until now. It’s literally a classic anime story: a bunch of kids with magic powers going to a massive wizard school/castle and learning spells while getting up to all kinds of shenanigans, time traveling, fighting dragons, going to dances, uncovering a secret plot by the evil wizards, etc, all culminating in an epic final war at the school and fight with the ultimate evil. A Harry Potter anime would be absolute cinama.
