"We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. Whatever the cost may be. We shall never surrender."
Haven't been much for social media of late so I'm uh... well, late to see this but hell yeah! A classic I was singing in my head the other day actually.
It's been a while since I've posted and I've sat on this a few months but... I absolutely LOVE my new @DanelectroUSA Red Hot Longhorn. It's a great bass. Honestly, I think it'll be my main bass from now on. #Danelectro #OwnTheTone

Whether it's German or Asian made #Hofner is producing and selling pure junk right now and NOT standing behind their products or honouring their warranty. They're even ignoring the dealers. If you want a Hofner #BeatleBass you should probably reconsider.

Pfft. #Hofner customer service is... interesting. They responded to this by having their NA sale director reach out to me. He wants me to call him. Long distance. At $1.00 a minute. Wow. Three defective basses in a row and they want me to call them. No. They can call me.
As a kid, when we played cops and robbers, I always played Hutch. When I grew up I admired and respected his art and his ethics. My wife and I have been rewatching S&H lately... Thank you for everything you shared with us. Rest in Peace, David.
David Soul—beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother—died yesterday after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family. He shared many extraordinary gifts in the world as actor, singer, storyteller, creative artist and dear friend. His smile, laughter and passion for life will be remembered by the many whose lives he has touched.

Wow. It's been a year since I've written any gear reviews so... winterwind-productions.com/2…
#Hofner should be ashamed of themselves for this one. It never should have left the factory. For a $4500.00 #BeatleBass it was a disgrace.

Rockabilly & Punk alert! I’m giving two guided tours talking with first hand knowledge about how all the original punk pioneers were influenced by Rockabilly. This is an awesome joint! It will sell out! Best, SJP 😺☘️🥁

Thinking back to the 2012 #RollingStone Special Collectors Edition. Two noteworthy #Gretsch guitars featured in their "Guitars that Changed the World" article.
Great Gretsch Falcon there. Mine would be... the Gretsch VS '62 Tennessee Rose I just picked up last weekend.

Nashville's bit of a trip for me but I do indeed appreciate #chetatkins. I've had my '62 #TennesseeRose for less than a week and I love it more than my LTD Penguin... which I didn't think possible. Hilo'Trons are so sweet.
first day #chetatkins appreciation society convention, nashville. sure to be a great event. be there or be square. #bemusical
Finally have my dream guitar. A @gretsch Vintage Select '62 #TennesseeRose. She looks so good next to my LTD Penguin. Thanks to the folks @tvjonesinc the Hilo'Tron pickups sound amazing through my @SuproUSA Delta King 12 and my @VOXamps AC30.
Kudos to Rob V. @CosmoMusic
As a singer-songwriter that considers Keelor & Cuddy to be Canada's answer to Lennon & McCartney, I always wanted to be followed by @JimCuddy. Instead, my notification this morning is... I'm being followed by @Jim3Cuddy instead

This govt is out of touch. We need to take immediate steps to invest in affordable & supportive housing and mental health programs. Because people’s lives hang in the balance.
My condolences to her family, friends, support network who are feeling this tremendous loss today.
1) @FedExCanada Wow, you are absolutely brutal. Thank your for wasting my day. A delivery was expected Monday. This morning an update said it was out for delivery and coming between 9:50am-1:50pm so I cancelled my plans and stayed home waiting...
2) Then I just got another alert telling me I was unavailable... even though I'm sitting here waiting for you. So I called your CS line and was told the message was a default wording and you don't work past noon on Saturday. @FedExCanadaHelp, you're not much help.
3) So, you've wasted my day for no reason at all. If you don't work past noon why even tell me you're delivering today. Should have left it as it was and we'd all be happy. @FedExCanada @FedExCanadaHelp you are absolutely, brutally bad.
