If my ancestors wanted to be a part of Europe, they would have stayed there.
They came to Canada, to get away from Europe, actually.
Carney has no right to arbitrarily declare we are now part of the EU.
The last thing we need, is a 4th layer of government & bureaucracy & red tape

Every Canadian journalist at the EU summit should be pressing Mark Carney on what this means.
Does Canada need to adopt EU standards?
Looks like we have to on carbon tariffs, or we pay.
How is adopting EU standards and regulations not surrendering sovereignty?

To my American cousins..... don't go down the same path as Canada.
The upcoming midterms are critical. Send the right message to the rest of the world.
Say "no" to the great reset and support your president.
IF YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS AT STAKE IN THE AMERICAN MIDTERMS, LOOK AT CANADA.
Canada was one of the safest, wealthiest and most stable countries in the world in 2008.
Then its leaders pursued mass immigration while at the same time, they restricted the country’s fossil-fuel industry in the name of climate change, weakening the country to a stand-still.
Now 60% of Canadian food-bank users have a post-secondary education, and 50% have full-time employment.
“The social contract has been broken.”
In case you are wondering - this is exactly what will happen in Democrat controlled America.
Before voting in the midterms, ask yourself:
Are we solving the affordability crisis, or importing the same decisions that helped create impoverish Canada?
Broken Country is a new documentary examining how mass immigration, destructive energy policies and political failure contributed to Canada’s decline.
Watch it before America follows the same path:

Çan anyone explain to me the logic in ending trade with the richest most powerful nation in the world who happens to be our neighbour to join the EU who is broke and in horrible economic shape who we already have free trade agreements with. How can this be better than what we had

They want to frame what is happening in Poland as right versus left. But the real issue is global control over sovereign decision making. Who decides a country’s future and who answers to its people?
A dispute over appointments to Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal, the court that determines whether laws comply with the constitution, has escalated into the suspension of its head and police blocking access to the courthouse. The country’s elected president had to make his way through a police cordon to enter.
Does that sound at all reasonable or democratic to you?
People can disagree about which side is right. But sending police to the courthouse does not establish that you are acting lawfully.
And where does the authority end? National governments, EU institutions and courts all making decisions that affect people’s lives. When those authorities conflict, who is ultimately in charge? Who answers to the citizens?
Countries must be able to reject terms that do not serve their people. International cooperation cannot mean surrendering the ability to say no.
This is what concerns me: people exercising enormous power, spending public money and surrounding themselves with people who will never challenge them. The citizen comes last, expected to pay, comply and live with the consequences, then treated as the problem for objecting.
How does anything improve when those responsible refuse to listen, resist accountability and expect the public to simply accept the consequences?
What gives me hope is that people are questioning who holds power, how it is being used and whose interests it serves. Citizens are entitled to more than explanations for why a failing system must stay the same.
No institution is entitled to unquestioning obedience. Every exercise of public power must have lawful authority, clear limits and accountability to the people.
🇵🇱 Confused about WTF is going on in Poland? You're not alone
Yesterday, judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska took it upon herself to suspend the leadership of Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal
She issued written orders placing Tribunal President Bogdan Święczkowski and Vice-President Bartłomiej Sochański on a one-month “immediate break in official duties” and announced she was taking charge as the longest-serving judge
She justified this by arguing they had blocked newly elected judges from sitting, prevented the General Assembly from meeting (needed for the 2027 budget), and violated rules on assigning cases
The real reason is a spat over appointees to the court that President Nawrocki is refusing to accept. It's basically a fight over who controls the court - the left or right - with both sides claiming to act to make sure it's politically independent
I know, ironic, right
Her reasoning is that provisions in the 2016 Act on the Organization and Procedure before the Constitutional Tribunal state that the longest-serving judge can substitute for the President in certain situations when the President cannot designate a replacement
According to her, he cannot designate a replacement because she suspended him
She also claimed that Article 130 of the Law on the System of Common Courts permits a court president to order an immediate break in a judge’s duties for up to one month if the authority of the court or essential service interests require it (or if the judge is caught committing an intentional crime)
It's widely viewed as invalid because the Constitutional Tribunal has its own statute and is independent under the Constitution (Article 173)
Ordinary-court rules on temporary suspension of presidents do not automatically transfer, and experts have called the claimed basis “non-existent”
The Act on the Constitutional Tribunal does not provide for one judge unilaterally suspending the President this way
Korwin-Piotrowska herself is one of the judges elected by the current Sejm majority whose swearing-in President Nawrocki refused
The Justice Minister (who also serves as Prosecutor General) separately sought to lift the leaders’ immunity for prosecution, but he has no general supervisory power over the Tribunal the way he does over ordinary courts
The timing is wild too. She executed the move when President Nawrocki was on his way to Senegal
He turned his plane around mid-air, came back, and then had to force his way past a cordon of riot police to enter the Constitutional Court to try and resolve the chaos
Expect this one to get even more complicated and tense as both sides fight to exert control over Poland's highest court

This has to be illegal!!!!. We have a parliament as well for discussion, also something like this should be voted on by the people of Canada.
‼️ MAJOR BREAKING: The EU president just told the world what Carney signed Canada up for.
"We are building an Alliance for the Future.
And we start with Canada. The EU and Canada are sort of the nucleus."
Then she turned to him: "Indeed, you said Mark, the new international order will also be built from Europe, with Canada as part of it."
No vote in Parliament.
No referendum.
What the hell does "the nucleus" commit Canada to?
Carney's Oct 30 response: "The name doesn't matter."
IT'S OUR COUNTRY.
EVERYTHING MATTERS.

This is a must read article folks. We can't let this happen.
'What is unfolding in Canada is not politics. It is not reform. It is a hostile takeover by global forces using one of the most sophisticated and destructive plans ever devised to collapse a free society from within.'

Carney’s Senate Leader REALLY didn’t like being called out for spouting faulty figures to bolster the sad Liberal record on Canada’s affordability crisis.
This #SenCA Leader repeatedly claimed the Liberal school food program “is helping 400,000 children”.
April memo to Cabinet shows this claim is nowhere near accurate.
Yet, Carney’s Senate Leader keeps stating it (even yesterday!).
These guys never change.

From this morning.
I think it’s become clear after 18 months of listening to Carney.
Whatever he says, Canadians can expect the exact opposite.
Life becoming more affordable : expect our cost of living to go up.
Canada will become more sovereign : expect even more outside control from unelected organizations.
