I was thinking along the same lines, but I think we need a strong Marco Rubio as Secretary of State, with DeSantis choosing his own VP. I think DeSantis would make a good president. Both men have strengths and talents that I believe would be better utilized in other roles rather than having either one serve as vice president. And perhaps down the road, we’ll see Marco Rubio make a run for president himself.
DeSantis/Rubio 2028?

FAITHFUL EVEN WHEN IT’S HARD ā¤ļø Hebrews 10:23–25 | 2 Corinthians 5:17 We are not called to surrender to fear, disappointment, or despair. We are called to be faithful. And sometimes, that is a battle in itself. We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we know what Christ has commanded us to do today. We are not called to surrender to fear, disappointment, or despair. We are called to be faithful. And whether that means proclaiming the Gospel or simply placing a cup of cold water into someone’s hand in His name, let us be found doing the work He has given us. And please, don’t give up on the Church. Find one that faithfully teaches God’s Word, not one that’s perfect. You won’t find one. We need one another to encourage, strengthen, and remind each other of God’s promises, especially when our hearts are heavy. And if you’re someone who feels you don’t belong because of your past, remember this: The Church is not a gathering of people who never sinned. It’s a gathering of people who desperately need a Savior. Some of us have more colorful histories than others. You don’t have to lay your entire life story before everyone you meet. Give people time to know you, to see the work God has done in your life. And perhaps one day, when you share where you’ve been, someone will look at you in amazement and say, ā€œYOU did that? YOU were like that? I can’t believe it!ā€ Not because you’ve hidden your past, but because the contrast between who you were and who you are becoming in Christ is so beautiful. Let them see the fruit of what Christ has done in your life before you show them the thorns He brought you through. 🌹 ā€œTherefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.ā€ — 2 Corinthians 5:17 The world may grow darker, but the Gospel still shines. And as long as God gives us breath, there is still work to be done. Be encouraged. Stay anchored in Christ. And above all, be faithful. ā¤ļø

"When people are so surprised by who you used to be, perhaps it's because they've already seen so much of who you've become." Thank you Jesus for stepping outside to bring me on the inside, it truly is something to celebrate. "For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God" Colossians 3:3 Ephesians 2:1 And you [He made alive when you] were [spiritually] dead andseparated from Him because of your transgressions and sins. 2. Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

The true Americans are the ones that know who our allies are and value and takes serious our relationship to Israel. Israel is one of our strongest and most beloved and valued allies, and I will never vote for anybody again who is against her. I don't care who's ticket they're riding on. The only reason JD Vance got my vote in the beginning is because I thought Vance was pro Israel, and because he was running on Trump's ticket. I had a gut feeling this presidential term was going to be a lot different from the last time.šŸ˜ŖšŸ™šŸ˜Ŗ I appreciate President Trump and everything he's done for Israel, but this thing with JDVance is too big of a blow. I stand and pray for our President. @POTUS
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, ā€œI told you soā€: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

My encouragement to Christians in America is to hold on to the promises of Scripture and pay closer attention to Bible prophecy than ever before. America’s growing distance from Israel fits the prophetic picture. In Ezekiel 38, Israel faces the invading coalition without military help from other nations. What we’re seeing today is straight out of the Bible’s description of the last days. When Jesus spoke to His disciples about what was to come, He told them, ā€œSee that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yetā€ (Matthew 24:6). It’s Nice to Be Important, but It’s More Important to Be Nice. ā¤ļø Sometimes ministry begins with a haircut and a conversation. You never know what someone may be carrying in their heart when they sit down in your chair. Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can offer isn’t advice. It’s a listening ear, a little compassion, and a word of encouragement. It’s interesting what happens when we make ourselves available to the Lord. He brings people into our lives who are hurting, searching, or simply needing someone to listen, and sometimes all they need is a professional hair service. You don’t need a pulpit to make a difference. I believe our ministry begins right where God has placed you.ā¤ļø1 Corinthians 3:6–7 ā€œI have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.ā€ Sometimes all we’re called to do is plant a little seed of kindness, encouragement, or faith. Someone else may come along and water it, but God is the one who gives the increase. ā¤ļø We never know how God might use a simple conversation or invitation to introduce someone to the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. Have you thought about inviting someone to church with you? ā¤ļø

Abortion is back, they say. Friends, abortion never left. It takes the lives of thousands of our children every single day, and last night they danced about it. I will not dance. I will pray, I will speak, and I will defend the babies who cannot defend themselves.
