I am aware of the false statements being circulated online. I will not speculate as to the motivations of the people who have attempted to compromise our standing in a community that we cherish. However, amplifying misinformation without knowledge of the facts carries real-world consequences. The truth will be addressed through the appropriate channels. The gallery appreciates your continued support as we continue to pursue our goal and mission.
Honestly I’m enraged. Enraged at the people with influence who knew something was off but still participated. Enraged at the people questioning a brave young woman who put her safety on the line to speak up. Enraged that at every single event I attend I hear about a woman being assaulted, drugged, harassed. Enraged that people look the other way. Enraged that we don’t get to feel safe among a tight knit community. Enraged that reputable names being involved does not equal safety. Etc etc etc
