History has been made. Stacey Plaskett has become the first Black woman elected Governor of a U.S. territory!
From beginning her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx to serving in the U.S. Department of Justice, as General Counsel for the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority, and as the territory's Delegate to Congress, Rep. Plaskett brings decades of public service to this historic new chapter.
Congratulations, Governor-elect Stacey Plaskett!
