I love as fiercely as I hate. Find out what the latter looks like by reading my autofictional metanarrative novel #DRILL (found at every book retailer), and after reading it, judge me accordingly. There is an implicit challenge herein. A dare. #DRILLNOVEL amazon.com/Drill-Scott-R-Jon…

A happy coincidence of this vacation was randomly discovering how close Petaluma, CA was to where we were and knew I just had to stop in @WordHorde to meet @lossrockhart! What a wonderful store and delightful owners. If you’re in Petaluma or nearby, you must drop by the Emporium!

one of the best and potentially most important novels i've read in the past year.
“…The real horror of this novel is that Antioch could be any country, and the terrors both real and supernatural could easily be set loose upon us all. A chilling story that holds appeal for a wide audience…” —Becky Spratford, Booklist amazon.com/dp/B0BKR4MD8Q?tag…

Furnace by Livia Llewellyn A potent protean voice evoking the wild and weird, the cosmic, infernal and internal..aspects of lust and grotesque within a disquieting beauty and poetically intriguing hypnotically succumbing succulent prose. @WordHorde #books more2read.com/review/furnace…

I love those Matthew Jaffe covers (Gaunt, Fang, & Corpsemouth) — I was lucky enough to see the original paintings in person (they’re gorgeous).

Oh we’re not interested in locking anyone to us. We want our authors to find success down many avenues. What I’m driving at is, as ever, finding alternate avenues to push less-visible pubs & authors onto a platform that is zealously gatekept by THE WAY THINGS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN.

Oh absolutely; we friggin' love to see our people thriving elsewhere. We love to see other presses treating them right, and seeing the same spark of genius in them that we did. It's smart & necessary that indie authors diversify where they release their work, for their own good.

Truthfully, IDGAF what Big 5 does to mend itself—that’s a different game entirely, that I don't know the rules to & have no interest in playing. But I wanna know what READERS want from INDIE PUBS? Where will they follow those books to? We're definitely listening🖤☠️ (/end)

The Skull & Laurel is our visibility. @AlexWoodroe & I are so loud & forward facing as publishers because so far, that works. Modestly, sure; but it works; &we're happy to exploit that. But the OG post is valid: who the fuck follows publishers over authors? How do we fix it? (7/)
