You don't break your trading rules because you have no discipline. You break them because you don't know if your strategy works. No backtest. No forward test. No idea what normal looks like. Get the evidence and the rules get easy. Reply LOG for free access to Tru2Plan.

Half of your trading stats are a lie. If your journal mixes on-plan trades with the ones where you broke your rules, your win rate means nothing. Keep them separate. Only your on-plan trades show what your strategy really does. Reply LOG for free access to Tru2Plan.

We all know how important that initial backtest is! This is free, no harm in using it 🫶🏽

Overtrading kills more prop firm challenges than bad strategies do. The easiest fix: one trade a day. Win or lose, journal it, close the laptop, get on with your day. No revenge trades. No "I'm on a roll." Just one decision, done properly.

Hoping to see people here 👇🏽🙏🏽
An edge is only real until the market decides to expose it. A few winning trades can make you feel untouchable, but beneath every impressive P&L could be a statistical illusion waiting to collapse. The market has a way of turning profits into a painful reality check. You can not miss this conversation come Thursday. Topic: The Edge Fallacy (When Profits Become Illusions) Date: Thursday, 5th Nov, 2026. Time: 8pm (WAT) Host: @TheToff_ Speakers: @Dioslev, @WrightMindset Sponsor: @the5erstrading (Bonus: Engage the space and this post to win any of the 4 X $5K @the5erstrading prop accounts)

Most traders don't skip journaling because they're lazy. They're scared the numbers will prove the strategy doesn't work. But a strategy that loses over 50 trades will lose over the next 50 too. You can find that out in a spreadsheet, or through challenge fees.
