This will just accelerate what I predicted, which is the return of the STUDIO SYSTEM and the elimination of agents and managers. Agents and managers will just be studio employees who do contracts, and instead of having glamorous lives themselves.
Hollywood talent agencies CAA, UTA and WME have teamed up to create the American Entertainment Alliance.
The organization wants U.S. legislation to force streamers like Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max and Disney+ to spend at least 50% of their budgets on independent productions.
