It's one whole week since Why No Rhino? was released.
Over the past few days I've shared Reggie's story with around 1,050 school children across two online events, celebrated the launch with family and friends, sold and signed some books and had some lovely feedback...
I've also been in contact with several schools regarding in-person visits!
Have you got yourself a copy yet? Why No Rhino? opens up important discussions about diversity, representation and identity in a light-hearted and humorous way.

If you've ordered a copy, or intend to, please tag me in a post - I'd love to see where Reggie ends up!
Also a massive shout-out to @AmySparkes, @TheGEAcademy and my old critique group for helping with the early manuscript drafts!
#Teachers , did you know that Why No Rhino? comes with a set of teaching notes including discussion topics & activities? These are great for lessons about identity, representation & diversity and are available to download from New Frontier's website!

Just introduced Why No Rhino? to over 30 classes in the London Borough of Havering! After hearing Reggie the Rhino's story, the children worked together in their classes to write an acrostic poem all about IDENTITY. There were some absolutely amazing ones! Here is Reggie's!

To celebrate, I have a couple of exciting online events lined up. The first is on Wednesday morning when me and Reggie will be Zooming into around 32 KS1 classrooms in the London Borough of Havering...
Then on Monday I'll be reading to KS1 pupils during their assembly at Ashton Gate Primary in Bristol as part of the @StorytaleFest schools programme.

You only get one take when it comes to filming an unboxing video, and here it is! Had I been able to, I'd probably have done it at least 17 more times until I was happy! Anyway, Why No Rhino? comes out in ten days.

It's #NationalFoxDay today, so it's time to re-introduce you to Fennel who likes to think a little differently to other foxes.
Order yourself a copy of Outside the Box, written by me and illustrated by Ayu Desyana, and read Fennel's heartwarming tale!
