You are officially allowed to start listening to Christmas music today!
Now that you guys have a proper P.T. PC port will devs please stop making half of all indie horror games "time loop purgatory where spooky narrator reads you your family annihilation crimes and otherwise drip-feeds exposition in the background"?
So what is the deal with Analog Horror and people being afraid of the moon? Do we put this one on Majora's Mask?

in the 1600s, malebranche, a catholic priest, argued animals were machines that cry without feeling pain
later on, the church came out against animal cruelty
i wonder how this will read in a few centuries

Machines are tools, not persons. Today, some propose granting these systems rights, or even legal personhood. Such an approach risks obscuring human responsibility and leaving those who suffer harm to confront a faceless entity.
My extremely unpopular opinion is that the Church leans too heavily on St. T. A. and leads to some, trads especially, treating him as infallible in all areas, which he surely was not. Notice most people who use Thomas Aquinas to become Theological rules lawyers also frequently hate Fr. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who smoothly refutes this very notion about animals with the concept of the Omega Point and the spiritualization of nature by Christ's victorious cosmic redemption. Ultimately my guess is St. T.A. just couldn't sleep through his Order's dog barking at night or something.

Nobody can tell if fellow humans are conscious. If we adopted Mustafa's take and assumed only our individual self is conscious any treatment towards others could be justified and society would ultimately collapse.
"Only I'm conscious" is a trap to hell that Mustafa wants to open
If you ever want someone in your family converted, don't just ask St. Monica for help: pray with her for the conversion of her son, St. Augustine. I am convinced she goes extra hard in her prayers for those who pray with her on that one.
My priest got super agitated with me when I asked him about this one day and I was soooooo validated to find out Padre Pio was of this exact position. The Communion of Saints is eternal so it makes perfect sense to me 🤷
Right, Sammy, so everyone should be locally running memory optimized 24/7 agents in their homes rather than giving you money. I absolutely agree with you.
Sam Altman says its bad that everyone's personal computers are using the world's limited supply of memory chips.
"It’s quite terrible to have everybody have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAMs sitting in their own computer, and being used 5% of the time. Like, you want maximum utilization."
Seize the means of production and support open source computing.

“It’s a remake of The Great Gatsby, Liz, except this time they solve crimes. I play Nicole ‘Nicky’ Carraway, a cop with dreams of becoming a writer”
